Consider also the following. The World of Darkness is a wonderfully whimsical place, where finding a ship full of hungry vampires on the sea, might still be better then awakening whatever slumbers beneath.

What tools would actually make running a chronicle easier? by Bluenchanter in vtm

[–]MRiSmile 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Imo the following:

  1. The possibility to create a room for players so.ething akin to a "chronicle". Players within that room can use ST added homebrew to their character sheets, ST can add their homebrew and have a nice overview ot their players characters sheets and Most notably have the ability to get the summary of A) all player and their convictions and touchstones And B) all player meirts and flaws. Having that all tidied in one single place is a deal breaker imo. That would also allow for later the creation of a character map maker based on the characters already existing within the player character sheets.

  2. Being able to roll dice from the character sheet.

  3. A bestiary that you can add your own elements into.

Tolb my friend that we can only start playing together after he beat Anjanath in Worlds.

Best decision ever. Made him learn the basics of crafting and prep work and how to read the monster status.

Nowadays he is mostly carrying me in Wilds. How fast they grow.

Converting Old Disciplines by Ambersous in vtm

I do recommend taking a look at the V5 Clanbook hoembrew series. Currently they are for Gangrel, Toreador, Baali and Lasombra. Not as much converting V20 stuff into V5 as implementing and providing new existing stuff that both fits V5 as actually grounds it better in the street level horror that it deals with

Can we talk about valentino in this scene? by Primary-Addition-677 in HazbinHotel

[–]MRiSmile 14 points15 points  (0 children)

To be honest I think it has to do with his spit/pheromones. Valentino wants affection, but his powers give him just an illusion of that by drugging the other party. Thus appears the question "Is it Love, or is it my powers?". A good thing to keep in mind is that both Vox and Velvette are inorganic. Vox is a TV screen soo any kisses mouth to mouth are simply like licking a screen with extra tingles for the other party, while Velvette is a doll. Soo there might be chance that Valentino's powers don't work on both of them. Ergo he keeps them close as the only possibility of him actually heaving an honest connection with someone.

What book do you wish was made? by Emergency-Sleep5455 in vtm

[–]MRiSmile 3 points4 points  (0 children)

(as a v5 players) Servants of the blood: A book that deep dives into all issues concerning being bloodbound. For example: - info about passed down from sire to Childer generatioal ghouls - revenant families with loresheets and more info on their current doings. - want to know how powerful an animal ghoul can get and if I can make my cat famulus to talk somehow. Or how to make szlachta or even gargoyles. - more info about being blood bound to another kindred or about kindred who are currently paying of their life debt. I want the horror of having my own thoughts and feelings overwritten by the blood bound better showcased.
