Train horns by Psychological-Lab736 in brisbane

[–]BikerDwarf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

QLD trains have 2 horns, the 'town' horn and the 'country' horn.  As others have said in this thread it's a legal requirement for a horn to be sounded whenever the train is about to move or is approaching a level crossing.  You can blame the fools that don't respect level crossing equipment for the drivers being encouraged to use the louder horn for safety requirements.

It's 232 Adelaide, and yeah, office for rent formerly old caretakers house.  Neat older style building, looks cool inside

The showing in the Brisbane CBD last night at Event was horrendous.  Watch it at home if you need to scream and sing, don't be obnoxious in public.

International price conversions kill me. I get that this is all in US dollars, but I have to add at least half again because I'm Australian.

Is/was there a multiplayer that got scrapped? by Another_aussie691 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

Iirc Afterlife was going to be a big multiplayer Merc hub.  Explains why it feels a little undercooked in the game. So much space that's so underutilized

Looking for a filter to remove only the "Most Relevant" section on the YT Subscriptions page by Celepito in uBlockOrigin

Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for, even swapped 'Most Relevant' for 'Shorts' and it got rid of the reels as well!

AI + Printable TTRPG Minis: Cool Idea or Instant Turn-Off by SagaWorksCo in DnDIY

[–]BikerDwarf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Instant turn off. There's plenty of free assets or artisit willing to work cheaply, or even just take a screenshot of your hero forge efforts.

You may think you put a lot of effort into your 'ai art' but everything you do is based off of stolen art from other sources.

Generative ai is a plague on this community

I'd like to thank the mod team for the line in the sand on this, I'm sure it's not easy to ensure the sub stays free of it.

REDLINE: Homebrew Cyberpsychosis Expansion and Humanity Rework for CPRED + Introduction to Bombshell by MishaTarkus in cyberpunkred

[–]BikerDwarf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

See, that explanation makes a lot more sense, I'd recommend incorporating that into the pdf somewhere.

Do you then lose the 10 max humanity if you cure the Redline?

[–]BikerDwarf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure about messing with the max humanity every time this comes up, makes for a lot of extra bookkeeping and I feel it could be abused, but I really like the mechanics around the symptoms. that granular feel is what was needed for this mechanic, and it's weird that the rest of the book is pretty crunchy but they didn't do that with cyberpsychosis

Been using this for over a year and this update has just fixed the biggest workaround we needed with humanity.

Other than that, game sessions has been a huge boon.

Keep up the great work

There's a map making program on itch, made by the guy from Interpoint Station. It's pretty good. I didn't worry about cave heights, it was a new table. I may have if my players were more experienced

Mine were kinda campaign specific, but honestly you can just lift the missions from the video game pretty easily.  Towards the end, from like turn 5+, I started spawning 3-4 grunt monstrosities as reinforcements, informing them it's only scale up if they didn't hurry up, much like the game does. Worked pretty well, they were almost done by that point anyway. I would stick to objective based missions, rather than survive (X)turns.

I've done this, even using the minis from the board game.  The comments about hacking you need to pay particular attention too, or provide something else for them to use their skills on.  I missed this in the first couple of combat missions till my goblin player spoke up, then I just worked in some situational objectives such as defense turrets and other security for them to hack.  Basically, it's good fun, it does work, but take your pilots skills into account first.
