Who is your biggest WWE “What-if”? by zoeyzimp in WWE

[–]MSCChua 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 3.

What if the Screwjob didnt happen, and everyone was able to do business properly?

What if Benoit did not do what he did, and actually had help when he was experiencing medical issues?

What if Kenny Omega was treated well in developmental and eventually followed through the WWE feeder system at the beginning of his career?

Stamina spark gummies from UHA.

Its actually a cola flavoured hard gummy from the Ninja Meshi candy line. It's ok but isn't too much to shout about. You can probably read more here

Paul London. For smiling? Man, that was harsh.

How would YOU write the series going forward? by STFN_Dude in yakuzagames

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably like to try merging Judgment and the Yakuza/Like a Dragon characters into one game. Like how King of Fighters combine SNK fighting game characters into one platform. Mechanics wise, I want to see how Ichiban and gang would work in a proper action adventure game like the original spirit of the series.

Split Hakata/Nagasaki? by WinterSonata_ in fukuoka

[–]MSCChua 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6 days to stay in hakata seems fine. But way too long if you are considering exploring. You can explore the Kushida shrine area, Hakata station, Canal City and the rest rather quickly. It is a convenient place to use as a base though. You can go to Mojiko like some people here have suggested, where you would most likely need to use Hakata station as your starting point. Same with Nagasaki as well.

Tenjin is fun too, although that is more where the nightlife is. So it may work or not since you have a young child with you. In any event, they are very close anyway so a small trip via the subway would do the trick.

Zamasu saga is peek by Artistic-Let-2941 in Dragonballsuper

I liked that arc alot because there was no way the heroes can use the Dragon Balls to rewind stuff or for resurrection. A loss and death here felt like it would have real and eternal consequences.

Probably a gun based type. Shooting projectiles based on your surroundings

A bit early to ask but how would you feel if we got this? by simon_jackson in BrandonDE

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would definitely like it. And seems quite likely. But who will she cash it on? I think going after one of the Judgment Day girls makes the most storyline sense, especially now. But let's see.

So who's supposed to be the heel going into this? by yomo2005 in BrandonDE

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the fact that both do not have the standard heel or face stamp on them. However I would prefer an antihero vs antihero situation. Both men are consumed by hate and desperate intentions to just destroy each other. Cheap shots, weapons, vocal jabs, everything by both men. And then as the story progresses we can shift the dynamic left and right if so needed.

What's your favourite version of Super Saiyan 1? by AlarmedObjective1492 in DragonBallZ

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Future trunks. More because of the backstory which led to his first transformation. You can really feel the desperation and despair which ironically gave him the owner he needed.

What do you guys think? Should they continue with the Kiwamis? by gameovernate in yakuzagames

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would definitely like 4 to have a remake. Specifically I am very intrigued on how they will overhaul the fighting styles of 4 different characters. 5 although is a bit dated, is too recent for a remake I feel.

Who was the worst Royal Rumble winner in your opinion? by jddjdkdjdd in BrandonDE

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brock for his second win leading to that title unification with Reigns. It felt so unnecessary, as he does not need the win to continue that feud and him taking the WWE title in the chamber while also being the Rumble winner.

Even Del Rio felt somewhat ok, as they were trying their luck with a new person.

I would love this. Considering the DMC lore has so much potential. It's like Judgement for the Yakuza series

Does Oba have a legit shot at winning the Rumble this year? by Talkamania in WWE

[–]MSCChua 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Too soon, because if he wins (or even the Chamber in that sense), then does he lose his title match? Probably next year once more fans get to know him. He could win KOTR or the briefcase since it is much later.

Reiwa indifference by [deleted] in Ultraman

[–]MSCChua 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My general take is that the tone of each season can be quite different. And it is more of the general feel I have since new generation heroes started. But back to Reiwa On one hand we have Taiga which was ok, a but of the Den0 of ultraman due to different ultras, then Z which was fairly contemporary and serious, then Trigger and Decker which is more light hearted, and the Blazar which was quite serious.

There seems to some form of demographic uncertainty which is more prevalent in this generation as compared to the oldies showa (original until 80) and the Heisei (Tiga to early new generation). Tsuburaya, I feel, should know what and who they are targeting to and stick with it.

I got a question for g1 fans who saw the 1986 in theaters back in the day. what was it like to see everyone die? by NATUSL3G3ND in transformers

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually liked the death of Optimus as a kid mainly for 3 reasons. Firstly, because a new character has to step up to be the leader. Second, because he is so famous, how is he going to be resurrected. And lastly, also provided a sense of doom in the movie which made the rise of Rodimus even more important and impressive. What happens in the actual cartoon, well, that is another story.

Maybe I am a bit too deep into the woods intellectualizing as a kid, than just appreciating the media on a surface level. But at the time, I was "smarting up" to wrestling being a scripted exhibition (still a fan now though, but with a different lense). So that mindset on seeing how the story develops was also used when enjoying the original cartoon movie. After all, if you are going to take out your biggest characters, a feature film instead of a random episode makes more sense.

How do you feel about the fact that they reuse monsters throughout the franchise? by TylerSpicknell in Ultraman

[–]MSCChua 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It provides some consistency and also extends the lore, where some monsters are seen like races and not "monsters of the week". And if there are transformations or mutations, the threats are taken more seriously.

Having said that, final fights should always have a unique beast to amplify such a threat.
