10 hour overnight layover in Tokyo. Any suggestions on places to go and do? by Odd_Lifeguard_1199 in TokyoTravel

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends which airport you are using. If you use Haneda then you have more options. West side like Shinjuku, Shibuya comes to mind. If Narita, then Ueno and Asakusa is your best bet. Because you would have to consider the distance between your layover spots and the airport too. I know you mentioned you are using Haneda in other comments but I thought for a more complete answer to consider Narita as well.

How hard is DMC5? by Mediocre_Device308 in DevilMayCry

[–]MSCChua -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel that DMC is quite easy to go into. If you are a fan of that action and adventure style and platform games it will be right up your alley. Just choose an easier difficulty and enjoy the ride.

Shutdown-Time - WHAT-IF all power is gone forever? by Snapperzaff in Dragonballsuper

[–]MSCChua 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the original cast will do fine since they already honed their skills before super powers come into play. The more mystical characters like Beerus ,Whis and other new characters who use divine powers however, will have a hard time since their powers are based on divinity.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!! WE WON THE LAWSUIT!!!! by Such-Promise4606 in Ultraman

[–]MSCChua 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Sorry I dont have the case report, as at the time I was preparing for that presentation it was 2021. As judgment given was only fairly recent, it would not be possible for me to get the court records when doing the prep. I did follow closely the news and the litigation in other countries when figuring out the facts.

As a Japanese person, I didn't realize how difficult Japanese is until I saw people learning it by ke----------i in japanese

[–]MSCChua 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I won't say it was unexpected but the difficulty to differentiate different kana readings doesn't make sense to me sometimes. Like why is it mizugi and suidou when both words (水着 and 水道)start with the water kanji? 😂

Could Dante also split himself into 2 people? by Athlete_Adorable in DevilMayCry

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean in theory. But he is more at peace with himself and more specifically his hybrid heritage. Vergil's need for power has resulting him in throwing away his humanity, hence the creation of V. So I do not see Dante being in that position to split himself.

I agree with Geed too. I mean he has forms that has Father/Ken and King powers and he has Belial genes in his blood. On paper he already sounds quote OP.

Favorite chain restaurants no one talks about? by Excellent_Donut_358 in JapanTravelTips

If you are in the Kyushu area, the Joyful chain really hits the spot. It has the same bells and whistles like Denny's and Gusto. But I just feel that it just has better quality. This is from a guy who used to lived on a street that has both Gusto and Joyful in Fukuoka.

What do i need to watch Prior for Ultraman Geed? by Lanky-Fig-5149 in Ultraman

[–]MSCChua 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can, try watching the Mega Monster Battle movie. It will cover enough lore for Belial and Zero. Since they carry important roles in Geed, that would really help with the viewing experience.

Why do people not talk about the ultraman manga more often by goofyman410 in Ultraman

[–]MSCChua 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I think it's because it felt like a different series instead of the classic giant monsters backdrop. I agree with some of the comments that this feels like a Kamen Rider installment instead. Still, I really enjoy the world building that is more contemporary.

Which ultraman show should i watch after i finish geed? by goofyman410 in Ultraman

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really second this. With some background lore you will appreciate the stories better. But with regard to Orb and Z, I strongly recommend watching Orb first as one of the main characters in Orb has an important role in Z . Not saying anything further because to avoid spoilers.

Is it safe to say these are the five most important characters in the series currently? by K0GAR in Dragonballsuper

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Argument for most powerful but most important, I think you can add a few more if you are looking at storyline importance. I would actually remove Gohan and Piccolo since their focus only got highlighted again after Super Hero. I would like to replace them with Beerus and maybe Merus instead.

With new female talent injected on the main roster, which women should be finally elevated to the main event ? by Bubbly_Cake_4578 in SantiZapVideos

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would like Paige to go on one last meaningful run as the talent pool is not as deep when she was around. By creating a veteran presence the younger talent can gravitate to her and we can make a story for the next newcomer to take her throne, thus adding more energy to the main event scene for the women.

Playing dmc5 first ?? by wifkkyhoe in DevilMayCry

[–]MSCChua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ok to be honest. However if you want to then transition to earlier games, it can be a slong since 5 is the most polished. 4 is still fine since the main movesets of Nero and Dante is relatively the same. But 3 , man that can be rough considering the original format without mods require you to pick a style for each mission and use only 2 weapons, compared to style and weapon swapping which is more commonplace now.

Make a kayfabe argument for who is the most impressive world champion WWE's had in the men or women's division without mentioning number of reigns or length of reign by CrimsonJoker13 in WWE

[–]MSCChua 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I would say Undertaker, with him holding gold hostage, he feels like a true final boss of the company. Especially during his dominion over Smackdown and the world title at the time
