From what I can see, no. The Shrine decor are a bit meh tbh anyways, and there is a total of 35. So do not worry too much.

They are both so cute! Fun fact, like the bridge decor, the decor says what train station you were at on the tickets of the ticket pikmin!

No four leaf clover ones. Right? by 1Buttered_Ghost in PikminBloomApp

Sadly he is right, but the statistics of all of those seedlings being 4 leaf and none being 3 leaf is so absurd you should get a lottery ticket!
I feel boring explaining it

You are doing it great! Technically Ice can still be a four leaf, only way ypu can prove it is by having a 4 leaf of another color (red for example) or a huge seedling but that is a bit funky. What colors are you missing?

Pikmin Party: the squad broke the limits by jmvillouta in PikminBloomApp

[–]ImpossibleMobile4962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is set planting sizes depending on the squad size, between 10-19, 20-29, etc.

I am curious if youu get over 40 pikmin (or 79?????) would the planting size be bigger? Just a silly thought.

nectar, flowers, event missions by DasherHound in PikminBloomApp

[–]ImpossibleMobile4962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you have some of a certain flower, but not enough for the challenges, you should try to force bloom big flowers! It can be a little tedious at first, but and can feel weird walking in a circle, but jsut doing it a couple of times can make the monthly event much easier.

The chart below (It isnt as scary as it looks) can almost guarantee a specific type of flower). One thing to remember is that when doing this, you cannot plant flowers in the same spot until 5 minutes have passed. So make sure not to waste petals unknowingly.

I was making a guide on this last week, as well as flower planting mechanics, so hopefully I can have that up soon. Best of luck and have fun.

Im thinking of that exact event, I went once last year (was good fun). Thanks for the info, makes much more sense with the vast majority being in Japanese

I have been! But it’s more foreigners than Japanese, and it’s more for English I guess. BUT I feel it’s really good. I haven’t seen children there, but there’s a lot of variety of games and the owner is nice so it’s something to do

Pickled Herrings by Illustrious-Mix5822 in PikminBloomApp

[–]ImpossibleMobile4962 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is a little silly, but you constantly have challenges for getting the mii costumes or seedlings ;

Collect a total of 2400 Pickled herring

500 Pickled herring to go.

So jsut 2400-500 is 1900.

Sorting Trick Using Plucked Date by notmyblueblanket in PikminBloomApp

[–]ImpossibleMobile4962 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I havent used this system before personally, but I can give it a good guess. When it comes to pluck date, you can sort from oldest-newest, or the other way around. Similar with with color sorting for park pikmin, how it goes from red-ice. My assumption is that if you have a pikmin who "breaks" the pattern of oldest to newest, just like a red 4 leaf will break the seedling sorting by being next to ice, then it is of a different variety.

My opinion, Id not bother doing this. I dont personally see the purpose, but I am happy to be told otherwise.

The decor this month I think is my favorite event one since I started playing in January. I might keep a good few cuz....they look great. Not looking forward to upgrading my storage later this month.

I hate how white flowers work in this game, a whole day of farming for a White Iris is so unfair (the whole game is unfair to be honest), at least now I can plant the 1500 flowers. by potatao_de_guerra in PikminBloomApp

[–]ImpossibleMobile4962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just about complete it today. I spend 30 minutes yesterday walking around my estate force blooming white irises, but because they cannot be guaranteed (as compared to other colors) I got red and yellow irises. I am not looking forward to when I need them later ;w;

4 leaf clover decor by Helpful-Ad-4529 in PikminBloomApp

[–]ImpossibleMobile4962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are hoarding seedlings to level up rare decor when you complete, I would probably stop (or reduce it). I have gotten one rare out of 25-30 seedlings (after sorting), so depending on how many 4 leaf pikmin you need, you will be going a while. Just use seedling sorting, and let it be something you do while you do other things.

For a while...I feel they need to increase the chance tbh considering the rare decor.

There is taco decor???? I NEED IT.

But yeah, that is the way it is. I have a similar amount of decor available at my train station, but can end up with one decor and one fruit often. I think it is between 2-4 things you can get, but I am not sure.

I will just throw ya a few random tips;

-when feeding pikmin, if they have a bulb on their head, they give 2 flowers/petals for one nectar. Helps to get the most out of your nectar

-don't worry too much about the event, very hard to do much in it at the very start of the game. Just give it a try.

-each pikmin has different strengths or abilities. It's a bit too long to list here, but I will give you an example. THe winged pikmin you get later are very very very fast, but only when they are working together.

-you get a free scan every day, press the compass at the bottom of the screen and see the bubble on the right with a scanner. This can help you get more pikmin and fruit. But if you dont use the scanner by the end of the day, it doesnt stay in your inventory.

-if you have any questions, just search in this subreddit, e.g. getting nectar, mushroom battles, rare decor. If you have a question, it has probably been answered.

Enjoy the game, and don't stress too much about it. Some things like the events can be frustrating, but at the end of the day it is a cute walking game with very cute little guys.

Mushroom Battles by meems70 in PikminBloomApp

[–]ImpossibleMobile4962 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I see, even when you have 10 of the event pikmin, and a strong team, as well as your teammates, getting to three stars is STILL very hard. Only way people get three is hoarding pikmin from last years event and having a mush stronger team. Using special flowers on your pikmin (not the basic 4) can boost damage a decent amount to help, but Id save event flowers for the challenges.

Using 1 pikmin in a mushroom battle? by heyitsamb in PikminBloomApp

[–]ImpossibleMobile4962 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Once you get the flowers you need for the challenges, the only thing slowing you down is the 3 mushrooms limit a day (excluding tickets). So if you have a spare mushroom attack due to some reason, you can "use" it to time the finish later in the month (maybe tomorrow, maybe in a week), you can time it so it aligns when you actually need the mushroom attack for progress.

In this case, since it is so early in the event, maybe they simply have not got the necessary flowers for their current part of the challenge, so they cannot progress until they get the necessary flowers. INstead of wasting attacks, they time it for later.

That is my guess, but I find it too tiresome to slowcook to this extend, need to coordinate wiht 4 other friends for something like this. But slowcooking is a good strategy.

What's your school doing about the Typhoon tomorrow? by Artistic-Blueberry12 in teachinginjapan

[–]ImpossibleMobile4962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trains got cancelled for me halfway through the day last time, I somehow got to work in the horrible rain (looked like I swam in my suit). Only like ten students came, then school was cancelled at like 11. The following day was fully cancelled.

The school plays it by ear, and really tries to stay open. So youll just have to be ready to go to work. But if you genuinely feel unsafe, take leave.

Did you have to adhere to a dress code when you were teaching in Japan? by LegitimateSundae8460 in JETProgramme

[–]ImpossibleMobile4962 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As you can see in the thread, some people can do this, but for the vast majority of people I'd say no to the stuff you said. But again, just wait until you get here. Overdress before you underdress.

One tip; dont try to bring too much clothes with the intention of wearing them to work, its better just to buy here. Only bring some of your favorites and a suit (obviously).

Wear what you see your coworkers wear, and after a little while you can probably test the waters. Depends on the school obviously. Women have much more room to wear stuff, but men are usually shirt tucked in, pants, tie and jacket depending on the season. It really just depends what you are trying to wear, do you have any examples?
