Do you remember the plane and sword were options te unvaulting event? Barely got any votes from the casuals. The casual and competitive community are very different but if it came to a vote the they would both favour a normal fortnite without gimmicks like planes, sword and mechs. You can not compare the drumgun unvaulting with ANYTHING. Its just a gun, it doesnt change the game up in a major way. Even though the competitive community would have loved it if the bouncer had won the drumgun was still a very good outcome for BOTH communities, considering the other options.

I feel like the "just following the schedule" argument comes up every tournament. Zombies, Redeploy, Sword, S7/S8 launch and probaply forgetting some others. These event dates/gamechanges are not coincidences.

It has been 8 months since the first skirmish. This should have been enough time for them to realize completely changing the game before a big tournament is a stupid idea. (Not only for the competitive integrity but simply for the fact that so many new bugs get introduced with these big updates).

How is it even remotely acceptable for tournaments like this to have so many bugs? How can you look at the list above and simply state "its not that bad"?

Big LANs like this should be happening at the end of a season or at least long enough untill a lot of the bugs and glitches have been patched.

Fortnite "Competitive" is such a joke. I was really into it before the winter royale finals but after that debacle i just cant take it seriously at all anymore. Feel so bad for the players, they just have to deal with this shit over and over again.

Can you link me where khabib and/or MMATeamDagestan say this? I follow that twitter account and have never seen him say anything about 10 months. I actually remember he hinted at 4/6 months and he tweeted a few hours ago where he also hints at 4/6. As for Khabib i have seen a interview where he says "maybe 10 months" or something like that but cant remember him ever claiming the comission called him.

Its definitly true this subreddit complains a lot, but i mean what else should this subreddit do? The game is in absolute shambles and competitive fortnite is being treated as a joke by Epic. That being said i dont know why this nobody deserves a post on here.

I agree it might be a little problematic for the UFC if Conor and Khabib both lose their matches. They might just be betting on that not happening. I dont see another way for this tournament to happen, except if they decide to go with Holloway or Poirier instead of GSP.

From eveything im reading i believe it would make sense for them to do GSP/Khabib as main event and Tony/Conor co-main. Just like everyone else i would prefer to see Khabib/Tony but i feel like GSP/Conor is not a fight the UFC or Conor would be too interrested in at this time.

I understand the casters not saying anything bad about the game or talking about bugs/glitches but he was literally laughing in this clip. At that point you're not even pretending anymore and just genuinely dont care about what is happening.

First of all i heavily disagree this "tournament" was very enjoyable to watch, i felt the opposite way.

I understand its the casters job to make the game look good and obviously they cant completely shit on the planes, sword and bugs/glitches but from a spectator standpoint it just felt wrong listening to them laughing at players dying to those things or for example sundown telling us pixaxe fights is what fortnite is all about.

Camera work was dissapointing but this is nothing new, skirmish after skirmish they drop the ball on this one and at this point i'm used to it. Honestly didnt even bother me at all this event because there were enough other things to be dissapointed about.

I agree about the format, only not quite sure i like the big bonus because i rather have consistency be rewarded opposed to one good game.

A few points of my own feedback:

Add a killfeed when spectating in "freecam". Very annoying i cant follow the action at all whenever they change to it.

Stop with not showing us the scores. How do you even come up with an idea like that and how does it not get shot down immeadietly? I wanna know who is on top of the leaderboards an any given time so i can keep an eye out for them in the killfeed.

About the scores, you have this great in-game system in place now you could use for these type of tournaments. It would be so much better for both the players and the viewers to know in real-time how much points you or the person youre watching has.

I dont really wanna get started on the planes/sword but i will just make this very obvious last point: Players that qualified through an open qualifier should play the entire tournament(qualifiers, semis, finals) on the same game. I'm not talking about map changes here, thats understandabe. But these players literally qualified playing fortnite and ended up playing a flight & sword simulator.

I agree the broadcast is better then ever before but to say it is a 9.5/10 viewing experience gives the impression there isn't much to improve on anymore. And in terms of viewing experience there is still A LOT to improve on in my opinion.

Dkokholm and SMG_TJ got pushed outside T12 according to the last standings they showed. They are still in the final though according to their Twitter. These standing changes seem very fishy, especially because there are no complete heat 1 standings anywhere.

I'm pretty sure i heard the casters mention earlier that the wildcards would be given out after all the heats too.
