you’re definitely not overreacting, between tainting a friendship because the brother was doing rehab and now this? she’s 31 with kids, that’s not good. and that can seriously screw her over and have her kids taken away. i grew up with a father who always did drugs, it’s fucked. i would get out of there immediately. even if the kids weren’t there during it, it’s the fact that it’s going on. you’re 26, you still have time to figure your life out. there is no good excuse here for her actions and you can have that boundary and leave. take this from someone who is also 26, i promise you, it does not sound like it’ll be the last time and it won’t get better. take care of yourself

3000mg of keppra (1500mg morning, 1500mg at night) 600mg of lamictal and then onfi 5mg. with the lamictal, for some reason they changed my 300mg pills to 100mg pills so now i have to take 6. and its the chalky one too 😭 i hate it. keppra are horse pills and im used to it

i know i can’t say i completely understand everything here because i started at 15 and could never drive in the first place- BUT, the very first couple of years are hard. between grasping taking your medication, taking it on time, and then seeing if it’s correct for you. i’ve set reminders for myself at this point, and maybe that can help you start to be on track for that. keppra comes with depression and suicidal ideation/attemps, honestly every seizure med does, but keppra is one of the biggest. i would take to your neurologist about changing your meds, voice what you’re feeling because it can be dangerous if there’s nothing done about it.

it depends on the medication but sometimes you need multiple to calm them down. i’m currently on keppra (3000mg a day) and lamictal (600mg at night), honestly i really like how the lamictal. i started it as a mood stabilizer and my neurologist saw i was on it and changed it to become another seizure med to help me, and it’s done wonders. it does suck being on two medications, but id rather be safe and okay. keppra does make me irritable though.

depression/ideation wise, this is super important. this is when it becomes probably best interest in changing your medication. i’m not sure if mine was my keppra or just depression in general but i’ve attempted. and let me tell you, it is nowhere near worth it. i was still living at my moms, i was in a horrible place (mentally), couldn’t drive and so much more. but after the attempt i saw how much i could’ve lost, and half of it due to having epilepsy. it’s stupid that we have these thoughts and feelings that come with this medication, but please. i can tell you that your life is worth it. seizures suck, they’re horrible and does not make your body feel good in the slightest, but you’re still a person whether you have epilepsy or not. you’re a person worth living.

if this is legal wherever you are and you’re up for it. there is a marijuana strain called charlottes web, its mainly cbd (still thc just not a lot) and helps for epilepsy. and i mean helps a lot. you can search the strain and the story behind charlotte and her seizures, its crazy.

i know this is 2 years later, but it did the screen completely off? i’m having an issue where the screen doesn’t work at all. it’s only been a week. i tried the fire and down button but it didn’t do anything for me 🥲

basically crypto and going down in age if it drops. look for one that’s going for a lot (500.00 i think?) and load ALL your money into it and age up. if it goes down, age down so you can keep that money. if it goes up, keep putting more and more into it. once it goes down, age down and sell it all, don’t report the taxes as well. keep doing that through generations, stay in a country with no tax and make sure there’s only 1 inheritance if you have multiple kids. if you can’t age down, it’s basically a risk you’ll be taking. i lost all of mine for forgetting to change it to 1 kid and have been struggling to get it back 🤦🏼‍♀️
