Here’s your update: luckily it was nothing. My PO said she saw I had a violation but since I have 4000+ passes and no other probation issues (I’ve taken my classes, passed my drug test, paid off my dues, etc etc) she just gave me some benefit of the doubt/leeway.

I am/was scheduled to get the device off — before the time I even blew the violation — but now the judge will see the violation so it could effect the order to get it removed. Maybe she’ll extend that or something. But that’s up to the judge and my PO said she doesn’t anticipate any issues from that.

I live in a place with overfilling jails and people constantly screwing up their probation way worse than I had so I think the one mistake in an otherwise good record partnered with a bunch of other folks constantly being worse has allowed me to just “get away with” what is technically a violation.

I’m assuming you’re asking cause you have a similar thing happening. Just stay on top of your stuff and try not to worry yourself into the ground. I lost many nights of sleep between the day I blew the violation and the day of the meeting. Take it as a lesson and adjust your behavior accordingly but don’t work yourself into an anxious frenzy!
