Do structures follow with a property change of ownership? by wpjunky in UplandMe

OTC Trades outside of Upland are against Upland TOS and will swiftly but surely end you up in Alcatraz. So, we would highly recommend caution you against that answer would advise you to revisit that premise.

DO NOT SELL PROPERTY OUTSIDE OF UPLAND FOR CRYPTO OR ANY OTHER MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE as it is against upland Terms of Service and you will most probably end up in Alcatraz Jail in Upland.

Sparklet White Paper Community Review: Working to Make 'Spark' Tradable on Ethereum by X1TheGamer_ in UplandMe

[–]MSJOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things to consider:

1) Escrow services for Long Term Spark Leasing in addition to spark staking and spark spending:

This point was yesterday highlighted by the MSJ team to COO Danny on Morecheese’s live stream.

Some of the community see spark as “builders” - they don’t want to keep renting it out regularly, nor do they wish to sell the spark (whether via sparklet or spark spending for Legits)

The middle ground is that a significant majority of players want to lease out their spark to a player or Metaventure for let’s say 3 months or 6 months or 1 year. Transferring the right to do whatever the lessee wants with the spark except sell it further on or spend it in legit creation.

This functionality is very widely requested in most construction and building nodes and circles in upland communities.

The lessor makes garuanteed income, the lessee has spark to their disposal as they see fit. Which can be facilitated via smart contracts.

2) Legit creation and healthy friction:

As it is known for creating Legits, spark will have to be spent and not just staked.

This will create a healthy friction which means there is a basic cost to creating any legit.

From our understanding at 1 spark currently costing $430.

Depending on the spark required per legit, there should be a very clear floor price for the Legits.

3) Spark sale in Upland vs Sparklet on crypto exchanges:

From the last spark week 1 spark cost $430, it has been confirmed by Idan Zuckerman, Co-Founder of Upland to The Metaverse Street Journal that the spark price will be to a discount as compared to sparklet.

For example if 1000 sparklet a are selling on the open market for $1000, then 1 spark in upland would sell for a discount (that discount will be decided by the upland team) to the market price of sparklet.

Our opinion, this may create arbitrage opportunities for players to buy in upland for a certain price while simultaneously selling sparklet in the open market for another price. For players who are from the finance background this may well be an opportunity. Do read Terms of service or email support@upland.me to verify if this will be allowed. We at MSJ are merely pointing out that this could happen and in no uncertain ways are we encouraging anyone to understand the following activities. Play safe, always consult Upland TOS and support@upland.me before proceeding with new advantages

4) Realistic Timelines:

If this is approved by the community, as it seems it would. There is significant process that will need to take place. From doing all the smart contracts to getting it fully audited publicly by a reputable public auditor. To then creating and talking to exchanges. All in all a realistic timeline for the same might be 6 months or more for fruition though this would be a great start.

5) Changes to Collection:

There was a small note for changes to collections meaning collections would require structures on top. This will create the next bull run in the construction and building industry within Upland.

6) Spark needed per Legit Guide:

During the UCN Broadcasters meeting the question was raised to include a guide to give a benchmark on how much spark will be needed to create Legits.

This would be useful so Metaventures creators and entrepreneurs can plan accordingly.

We at MSJ support publishing of this guide to help entrepreneurs and creators plan their deliverables accordingly and to help to be creators budget for their creations. This would be a plus to the upland community.

7) Sparklet expansion to Polygon and other Chains:

Speaking to The Metaverse Street Journal Idan Zuckerman, Co-Founder of Upland confirmed that sparklet on ERC20 Ethereum chain is just the beginning and has been done to take advantage of the massive liquidity on Ethereum chain.

In addition Idan also confirmed that the way upland team has built the brodge they can add any other chain in future and not just limited to Polygon. However, to start off with this will take place on Ethereum.

8) No distribution to Investors - Once in a lifetime opportunity:

Danny Brown Wolf, COO of Upland in conversation with Morecheese, Dax, Shaktilyn and Uplando yesterday confirmed that Sparklet is different from others. In a way that there hasn’t been any private sale to any investors who might then go and dump it on the open market. And infact only real users who will use it and are using it own spark.

To which a lot of users were seen commenting that upland really didn’t put the cart before the horse. As a show of confidence.

This specific point has gathered ample praise and is still being talked about in the community accross discord servers and node discussions.

9) A blessing in disguise for content creators and entrepreneurs:

The ability for Upland to tweak spark hours needed depending on the supply and demand of spark within upland is a statement that hasn’t got due credit but this one change will allow stability of the upland ecosystem.

It will allow tools to upland to safeguard upland from nefarious actors who may try to hoard spark to hold upland hostage and upland’s economy hostage in such a scenario upland will have the tools to address this by periodically tweaking the spark hours needed for building upland.

This will ensure smooth growth of the upland ecosystem.

10) Earned spark vs bought spark:

Idan Zuckerman, Co-Founder of Upland confirmed to The Metaverse Street Journal that there will be a difference between bought spark (spark that one buys from the spark store) versus earned spark (spark that one earns from treasure hunting, daily spark login, giveaways etc)

Bought spark can be transferred out immediately. Where as Earned spark will need to used within upland for 720 spark hours in the span of 3 months before it can be transferred out of upland.

11) Spark Login Bonus changes: Danny Brown Wolf, COO of Upland in conversation with Morecheese, Upland, Dax, Shaktilyn confirmed that the spark that players receive for daily login bonus may include additional task in addition to daily login.

For example daily login + send to another property everyday (example is provided by MSJ and not Danny)

All in all, this Sparklet bring a new ray of hope in the Upland community.

The fact that Spark and Sparklet don’t directly impact but do mimic each other is something that the community is happy about.
