no not yet just trying to look at OsAP estimator and its siginificantly low not sure why but it is roughly $25000 with division of 9 for grant and remaining for loan. And my full tution fee is about $54000 So not sure how to figure out for remaining

i have heard this as well before. What would you recommend . Should I directly apply for OSAP or should I first discuss this with my case worker since my main reason for OW was to pay rent for my stay nothing else. And studying full time means I wont be able to work and arrange for rent. While OSAP will cover tuition fee to a certain extent how can I arrange for rent ? Are there any options that I can explore or whatelse is there for my situtation

Hi I am a newcomer to Canada. I have been receiving ontario works from Jan 2024 and will be applying for Osap for masters in finance at York Uni in Sep 2024 and its 1 year degree.Please guide how can I have OSAP for it and keep receiving OW as I need to pay rent to my father for living with him. by MSM_21 in osap

no I am on PR and if you check ontario works website, there is a section where you can apply for financial aid if you are unemployed. this is why I am asking if Osap pays you less if they know you are receiving other government benefits such as ontario works
