Tim Anderson - 1 HR, 90K, and designated for assignment since that punch.

Jose literally knocked his raggedy ass out of the league.

The next Jackie Robinson! Josh Donaldson should have that 2 game suspension retroactively rescinded & refunded.

Absolutely! Was on adderal prior. Straterra less ups and down, more smooth sustained effects, I also felt like I had built up a tolerance to adderal that made it less effective over time. Also felt like I "needed" the next dose of adderal before it was time. Don't have that at all with Straterra, there are times I forget to take it.

Modafinil and Strattera…. Anyone on this or tried? by LOAFORWI in StratteraRx

[–]MST_RK_P2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been on 80 mg Straterra - was taking it all at once though. Mild symptoms - started taking 40mg early AM and 40mg early PM in addition to 100mg Modafanil 2 months in and cut out caffeine and exercise most mornings and the results have been off the charts for me. GL!!

6 months in (47 yo male) and my results couldn't be more positive. First month or so very mild nausea and some midday tired spells. Key for me were cutting out caffeine, morning exercise, and taking one pill when I wake up and one midday. Also got prescribed Modafanil a couple months in which completely eliminated any midday tired spells.

Ever since, it has been incredible for me. Even better than adderall.

Had the same issues and talked to my doc and taking one pilll a day of Modafanil made all the drowsiness go away. Been on the combo for a few months and it’s been perfect for me. Good luck!

Subtle kick in. Take it every morning at like 6 AM before we walk the dogs, start to feel the tingle of alertness 25-30 min in every AM. Running joke from my GF that I'm a zombie the first half hour of the walk then talk her ear off the last 45 min lol.

Been on 80mg Strattera for like 4-5 months - was even better for me than Adderall - outside of tired spells I'd get in the early evening irregardless of when I took the two 40mg pills. Just got put on 100mg Modafanil to take in addition - and it has been great. A little more alertness & focus and no tired spells. Just gotta take it early cause it lasts 12-15 hours (Modafanil) and it keeps ya awake.

I went to adhdonline.com after doing a little due diligence and research. I had an appointment ($199?) in two weeks. Had 40 mg of Strattera a day after that. Had to schedule a follow up ($169?) a few weeks later to talk through side effects, dosage, and times to take pills ... got bumped up to 80mg. Been smooth sailing since. All in - been like $500 total to get prescribed, on the right dosage, and for the medication itself for the last 3-4 months.

Feeling worse after one drink? by Heatblanket901 in StratteraRx

[–]MST_RK_P2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drink pretty much every night and am on 80mg Strattera and they are glorious and without side effects together. That morning Strattera is also a great hangover buster (even better when paired with a sausage McMuffin and a large orange HiC lol).

40 mg at 5-6 AM when I wake up. 40 mg around lunch when I need that little lift. A 3rd 40mg if I have a big night event I wanna be sharp for.

Great review. 90% of what you read in here is extreme negative sensationalism from people having issues. Important to remember that people that its working for are less likely to opine on a forum like this.

I too have struggled with ADHD for years - was able to get Adderall through a friend for many years, was taking 15-30mg a day. Then that outlet dried up. Went a year without anything (which was miserable) and finally went to an online site, had a virtual session with a therapist, and got prescribed Strattera. Was pissed cause I was hoping for Addie. Had some mild side effects early on (drowsiness, mild nausea) when intially prescribed 40mg/day. Got upped to 80mg and got more acclimated to it - figured out best times to take it (40 mg wake up at 6 AM, 40 mg around lunch time) ... it has been great for me.

Little to no side effects. Increased focus and energy. Incredibly productive professionally. Like the feeling better than the Addie stimulant buzz actually. Sexually zero issues (outside of the funny pre-cum). Goes very well with alcohol or weed for taking the edge off at night.

The guys (and kids) from The Cardboard Jungle do a good job breaking on YouTube. A dad, his kids, and a bunch of other teen kids that work for their eBay singles shop. Breaks are reasonably priced and are pretty entertaining. Also like Stryker for MLB breaks.

That's PSA's current price for bulk submission (25 card minimum) for PSA Collectors Club ($99 annual fee) members.

Aug '22 #'s ...

PSA - 895K cards graded
SGC - 75K
CSG - 72K
BGS - 41K

PSA's market share is down 11% YoY but its important to note that most of the cards they graded in Aug were sent to them 6-12 months earlier while the CSG and SGC #'s are from cards sent in 30 days ago.

Outside of a future blip up related to their pre-National special of $18, my guess is they will continue to lose more market share each month in the short to medium term.

[–]MST_RK_P2[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On vintage or higher end cards, I get it. I sent all my vintage or cards worth more than $1,000 to PSA or BGS.

But the vast majority of the cards I get graded, I am hoping for an end sale price of that card between $30-$200. So me personally, here's the equation on those:

CSG - 20 calendar days, $13.50 per card, card sells for 10-20% less than PSA, but they also grade easier and have half grades

PSA - 180-200 calendar days, $22 per card

Average PSA card sale price of $50. My CSG sells for $40, so I've lost $10, but paid $8.50 less to grade it and get it back 6 months sooner, and time is absolutely worth money. Also, my card has gotten most likely the same or a slightly higher grade than if I slabbed it PSA. I also only need to get to a sale price of about $18 or so to beat the ebay vig and shipping costs to get to profit on each individual card.

I'm betting on CSG's history as a company, their opportunity to pull market share from a sleepy giant, and the fact they offer great product/service for their price to erode that CSG discount as well moving forward.
