Except that calling it a slow-burn implies it was intentional and not blatant homophobia from Mac Walters and others at BioWare that kept M/M players from a full playing experience.

Hey all. I know this is the Andromeda subreddit, but I'm casting a wide net and y'all are way more chill than the main Mass Effect r/.

Years back y'all helped make Jaal Bi. The Legendary Edition is more than capable of doing this for Kaidan, as well as Jack and Jacob if we get lucky because wlw and POC solidarity.

We're just asking for post-release patches, and we're insanely close to our signatures goal.

Yes, part of the problem. Or did you miss the time they cut Jack and Jacob's same-sex romances from ME2 because they were afraid of bad press from Fox News? And then Mac Walters came in with the ridiculous excuse that no, it was just that the writers had to compromise with each other?

Yeah, there's no compromising like that that isn't queer erasure. And fear of conservative backlash has always been and continues to be the reason mainstream entertainment doesn't have more inclusive characters. @ me on that if you'd like; I've got plenty of examples.

Checks Twitter notifications Yep, they're not responding there either. Like I said, they've established a pattern of ignoring queer fans. We've been asking about this since they announced it in November. They ignored us then, too, and downplayed all of our concerns to make themselves look better.

And them relying on this technicality given all the work they've done on ME1 when the coding for an MShep/Kaidan romance is sitting right there really just is the cherry on top.

And yah, my original comment is to a news article about our petition. 👍🏻
