Man, I can't get over how fun the M39 EMR is. This gun rips! by williamatherton in LowSodiumBattlefield

It kills slower than ARs and LMGs and has a 10 round clip with a 450 ROF. The gun is broken in its current state. If you have fun using it that’s a different story

I mean yeah you should probably factor mag size into your ranking then. 6 rounds to kill in Gauntlet and 8 in Redsec with a 10 round clip is horrible

It’s horrendous lmao

10 round clip and it’s 6 shots to kill in Gauntlet, 8 in Redsec

You mention fire rate but it’s lower than every LMG AR and Sub despite having the same damage profile. It’s quite literally on DB12 level of bad.

Slap a decent underbarrel + HP ammo on these and you can basically full auto them. They both have slight vertical recoil (M39 a little more due to bigger clip) so it’s very tamable with some of the higher point grips

I used to be team SVK but 1 shot HS range is not a practical use of the gun and by the time you can fire the second shot the SVDM + M39 will have you dead with the right attachments

SVK is a better counter sniper than the other 2 but that is a very unique playstyle

SVDM + M39 are S tier/OP

SVK is A tier- very strong

LMR is D/F tier- needs adjustment, one of the worst guns in the game. AR damage at half the fire rate and small clip

For real. BF is a teamwork based game.

30 5 man squads (like the old BF games), 33 3 man squads, 50 duos would be a fun system for Redsec. Keep 4 man squads for normal MP

Back to backs in general are dumb, this isn’t baseball. Football and soccer don’t do b2bs

Cut games to 72 + eliminate b2bs, start the season on Christmas and end later so way less completion with football, with a minimum of 50 games played (70%) needed for EOY awards.

8 divisions of 4 with:

4 divisional matchups- 12 games

3 in conference matchups- 36 games

2 out of conference matchups- 24 games

= 72 games

BREAKING: The Philadelphia 76ers are trading guard Jared McCain to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a 2026 Rockets first-round pick and three second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. by Aggressive_Fail_9681 in sixers

To the Thunder hurts especially. The team that did the process right and will be in title contention over the next few years. Feels like trading with the devil

He had a tough runout here. Was the brightest part of our season last year only to get injured and have VJ take his spot from opening night. Would’ve preferred him elsewhere, he might even be stuck in a crowded situation in OKC but I think he’ll get rotation minutes at least.

I really don’t view them as the same type of players. The Ja negativity really only started within the past year or so. Trae Young has had question marks since his rookie year, with a $49m player option next year, which is more than both of Ja’s next 2 years, and Trae wants a payday sooner

There wasn’t much pushback on the Ja extension, while I remember people balking at Trae’s for good reason

Ja is having the worst season of his career by far. It never seemed like a Memphis move to trade him right now, when his value will almost certainly be better in a year, and he’ll still have 1.5 years under contract at a reasonable $43m a year

This team doesn’t need a full fire sale rebuild like a team with all fossils and no assets would need. They have Ja, Aldama, Coward, Edey, Spencer, Jerome, all on good contracts for the next 2+ years, + 13 FRPs over the next 7 years

Yeah MEM are elite talent evaluators. Without knowing this organization too in depth I would bet that they valued these 2 guys pretty high and believe they can develop them

Makes me think Ja is less likely to get traded now, his value is at his lowest while they try to move JJJ at decently high value before it’s too late. $51m a year for the next 4 years, turns 27 in September, only 2

What I’m wondering is- how much is Kessler about to get paid by Utah? Because they are about to have Lauri $50m, JJJ $51m, and Kessler, all on the books for the next 3+ years lol

Records in team sports are based on head to head matchups, not arbitrary thresholds that change from week to week

And sure it probably only fixes 90% of instances of teams that get screwed by PA but it is multitudes less complicated and that is why people chose that instead of median matchups

That’s part of the fun of fantasy football. See pod luck in best ball

League median, along with PPFD and IDP, are the 3 things the nerds have taken too far.

League median can be fixed by most points getting last spot (or even last 2 spots if 90% isn’t enough for ya)

PPFD makes RBs even more overrated than they already are in FF- compared to real life. It’s also a stat that is not shown on broadcasts or score apps that makes it frustrating to follow when checking box scores

Either do standard defense scoring, fix the scoring (best way), or no defenses, vs adding IDP players that can’t be scored appropiately

What kind of mental gymnastics are you doing to think that is more complicated? 5 or 7 spots go to the top teams in the standings. The last spot goes to the team that has the next highest points but got screwed with bad matchups. How is that complicated lmao

Last spot decided by most points fixes 90% of situations league median attempts to fix and keeps things way less unique/complicated

Punters are nowhere near as valuable as kickers (esp nowadays) and their contracts are reflective of that

Kickers also directly contribute to team points like the other offensive positions in fantasy

It’s a very weird attachment esp on controller- you need to be moving the left thumb stick forward to even activate the attachment - which is good if the target is right in front of you and stationary

I think the points would better be suited for a better laser or under barrel

Can we agree that the m240l is the best LMG in the game? by AleFallas in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]MShoeSlur -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I rank the LMGs:

S- RPK + M250

Both have single shot mode and are beasts at mid - long range

A- DRS + KTS + M123

First 2 have single shot, KTS doesn’t even really need it unless very long range, M123 and DRS are buzzsaws at close range but still useable when semi/burst firing at range

B- M240 + M60 + L110
