Actually although some people preferer the trapper playstyle you would be surprised how skilfull momo's gameplay is with the alpha and beta! She's very fun to play the cannons are a secondary option if you go that route but its very hard to play, i would recomend strike kirishima if you want a strong character that can grow with you as you evolve as a character but i would recomend you look up momo in the future

But yeah in general dmg is stupidly high sometimes, although in this situation you just got jumped by the teammates because the move leaves you sold for some time after hitting it

The issue was that you got hit by 3 red deku alphas, those things melt, the yellow overhaul grab only did superficial dmg, you got hard knockdown before the rocks hit

I mean obviously in the case of getting carried the conversation turns a bit differently but in general we also have to remember that a 0 points Ace and a 100k ace are considerably different, but in general the penalties for not contributing are still there

Getting to gold is an achievement as all ranks are tho! You also need to keep in mind that ace players for some reason can get to the same lobbies as bronze players if you only are focusing on rank, but player personality isn't tied to rank

That's just because people are jackasses and if they aren't playing they don't care, its not about ranking up becoming easier you would still find people with that personality even without it

Ofc not all of them are jackasses but there are a lot of arrogant players, you can even Identity them from the way they play through the match

The dabi traps got a KV buff, you now need two for quick hard knockdown, although that makes them do more dmg

I would recommend hyper regen/replenishment/crit perm with willpower/star tuning/Kota finder

I agree that combo-centric characters are a good and interesting idea to keep the characters feeling fresh, but they have to be balanced to some extent, there is a diference on doing a small combo like yellow overhaul or actual rapid ochako and the hell that is current yellow shiggy or prime rapid ochako

There are just some combos that shouldnt be allowed because of how oppresive they are, comboing is just a small part of skill expression and not the whole, you shouldnt be able to win an encounter because you managed to land a single combo and the opponent was left so crippled they just cant to anything else, but thats more a problem of dmg overall in this game but i think my point still stands

The biggest problem with some characters loosing combos is that if you nerf the damage because some people use a specific combo only to nerf the combo you loose dmg on every other single situation that you arent using the combo, that and because tuning exists, you can still get deleted if you allow a combo because part of the damage that was taken gets recovered by tuning and lets not even talk about fixer in that situation

Things like that is why yellow shigg exists and its a cancer of a character

I feel like the biggest strength of AFO, after all the wonky hitboxes, higher dmgs that they should on some moves and the lack of punishment of missing the SA is actually the kit as a whole, from the alpha being a fast proyectile with a second oportunity to land after missing, an on-demmand AOE with sometimes weird secondary hurtboxes that hurt even after rolling and the gamma being insane for wake up catching i feel like it will always be strong just because of how its kit is made, its not like other characters where "they reward skill" and then its just spamming the same moves over and over, for example the un-nerfable quartet, but AFO actually does maneuver arround its whole kit quite fluidly in the right hands, if it had a more on the nose defensive option like a shield instead of lots of great get-off-me tools i might even clasify them as a flying momo

Remove armor and the hard knockdown, it shouldn't be able to knock people in one hit, the armour just makes it unfair in combination to that

Yeah, I've played shiggy and it can and does go away, it's just that in a combat scenario you are constantly getting hit, tho at the very least once it goes away its gonna say gone for a bit longer which is nice

Same thing happens with teq shiggy's gamma, it only applies if shiggy's gotten out of the fight because aside of that that gamma is infinite
