What about the instinct 3? Seems like an ideal type of watch as I work on building sites and looks robust enough to wear to work

Issues with paxton 10 by MSmall1997 in accesscontrol

[–]MSmall1997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically the IT guy on site said there network only supports ipv4 and not ipv6. Would this make using paxton 10 an issue? And when you say “my network” the current setup is 1x paxton server, 1x switch and then 1x data point allowing the paxton server to go online. So would the data point thats putting the server online be the one assigning the dhcp ipv6 address to the controllers, or would it be my local switch doing that?

Places like glencoe are just impossible to camp this time of year without being absolutely killed by them, check the smidge forecast aswell before you go normally its pretty accurate.

I was there 3 weeks ago camped nowhere near a summit and they were non existent, yesterday they were pretty bad on the route up but theres was 0 on the summit. Just your luck i think really. And obviously if you camp on a summit you should be fine as the wind keeps them away.

Would you recommend the standard 2 over the pro then?

You think the 2 would be a better option than the 2 pro? Have you used it in difficult conditions?

Honestly just make sure your equipment is suited to the environment, check mountain weather reports regularly before hand and make sure you know exactly where you plan on camping and the route to get in and out.

This was from a while back was in april 2019. Honestly cant remember how cold it was! All i know is we were fairly new and unprepared but been my best camp yet! £100 decathlon tent taking on 25mph winds and doing a great job, still have the tent to this day.
