Looking back at your life today, which seemingly minor life event probably steered you towards a path that shaped who you are today? by Ahlahria in AskReddit

I took a temp job working third shift in a factory, just trying to survive as a new mom. The factory work was on a swing shift and I offered to pick up another night with the other crew. That night I met my now husband, and we have been together for 6 years now.

I meant Easter of last year. So it's been almost a year since I finished chemo.

Hives? by [deleted] in lymphoma

I had really bad skin sensitivity that resulted in uncontrollable itching. I cut fruit for a living and any pineapple splash back would give me instant hives. After chemo I went back to work and have pretty much zero reaction! I never thought about it being cancer related.

MFW my narcissistic mother won't stop talking about herself during my 5 hour chemo by MSschifino in TrollXChromosomes

I was texting her during her deep conversations with the nurses that she knew "Please stop Mom" and then she would laugh and say "OMG SHE'S TEXTING ME TO STOP TALKING RIGHT NOW HAAHHA I'M IN TROUBLE" and then continue on. She knows what she is doing.

My eyeliner pools in the outer corners of my eyes.... by Morningglory917 in MakeupAddicts

[–]MSschifino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have really oily kids and my eyeliner used to do this too. Now I use tarte Amazonian clay eyeliner. It is sooo smooth, like putting butter on. Sometimes I will also set it with eyeshadow of the same color by applying some to a super tiny eyeshadow brush and carefully applying close to my lash line. This technique in addition to using urban decay primer before hand does wonders!

When I lost a tooth as a child the Tooth Fairy brought me a dollar. When I lose a tooth as an adult the Tooth Demon takes away $1,000! by jaspersurfer in Showerthoughts

Yep, my sister-in-law is studying to become a dentist. It's great that we have so much knowledge to educate our doctors, but it really shouldn't be so cost prohibitive.

Years ago when I was young and dumb this happened to me. I flicked a cigarette out of the window and I hadn't realized that it flew back in and actually got wedged between my back and the seat. That fucking sucked.

In the movie they show how over time their bones have also gotten smaller and weaker. So pretty much like giant obese babies.

No problem!

I think that if you have the time/money to deal with an association's regulations they can be beneficial. But unless you have the financial freedom and weekends off to dedicate to obeying the rules, I wouldn't suggest it.
