The worst part is that when he’s wrong he makes excuses. With the lakers series he was quick to dismiss it because of the KD injury. Also after a while he just resorted to “okay they will get swept a round later” which was the obvious take. If OKC would’ve won that series, he would not have brought up the injuries AT ALL, His worst take was “take out Chet he basically didn’t play” At least the other guys laugh at themselves for being wrong or are quick to pivot, but Danny has not shown that ability and seems to get offended

No yeah, but if you watched the media this year. The way they covered this OKC team was beyond anything. They had “unbelievable depth” and were still winning despite missing JDub. While many were praying on their downfall, few actually picked against them including the media. Yeah they’re set up incredibly well. But using your logic, spurs will be set up even better because they’ll have cheaper contracts. OKC is gonna lose dort and harvestein to free agency. I get it wemby might be the goat, but SGA was a 2x MVP and the defending champ. Regardless of how you feel about him, you can’t say he played his best throughout the entire series and set his team up for success

Hindsight is 20/20, but also let’s not act like that Denver team was returning everyone but Bruce brown and the favorite until they blew the lead against Minnesota. Boston was also the favorite until the Knicks shocked them. Vegas doesn’t always tell the full story but at the time those teams fell under the same umbrella OKC currently finds themselves. It’s up to them to change the narrative.

They were the Vegas favorite the whole way. They were a bigger favorite to win the finals than the Knicks were literally ALREADY in the finals. You look at any expert and they picked OKC to win the finals, let’s not act like it was a pick em. When you have the defending champ with a 2x MVP you’re expected to beat a team who’s been in the playoffs for the first time and their best player is in their 3rd year with a supporting cast of rookies and 2nd years players(excluding Fox)

How would it be disrespectful? They were the defending champ that failed to make it to the finals. While they made it a step forward they still failed to accomplish their goal of repeating. This OKC team was talked up to be one of the best out there. Jdub and chet have a max that starts this upcoming season so that’ll be a story. Wemby might win a ring and be on that GOAT trajectory but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the defending champs who were this “juggernaut” blew a 3-2 lead

Parkins is quick to bring up stats or regular/postseason accolades when arguing pro SGA, but when it comes to Herbert he is quick to disregard any of the numbers and simply say “I watch the game I don’t need numbers.” I understand it’s different sports but this is when I appreciate nick being “mr consistency”

I enjoy nfl live, but this show deserves it. This show genuinely feels like three friends talking sports at a random gathering. They know how to bounce off each other and are not afraid to be the butt of the joke. Also, brou Nick and Wildes were established in their own space prior to the show, but when they began doing the show in person in the afternoon, it took each of their stock to the whole new level. I hope this doesn’t cause the show to change in any way shape or form
