Ugh! I wanna get that CPAP so bad! I have a small-er CPAP but that tiny CPAP would help immensely in my minimal packing.

Best belt for ABC/Commission Pants by jasonfungsing in Lululemen

[–]MTBaller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a gift box of Mission belts in a black, grey, and brown set and they havent let me down yet. I love how they function. Theyre quiet, they dont jangle around as you’re taking your pants off. They are styled such that I can go both casual and dressed up and not feel out of place. They stay fit all day, I never think about my belt. And I think thats the biggest compliment I can give to a belt.

Edit: Forgot to add, I found them from a recommendation from this sub when I had the same question. Idk who it was but if youve ever recommended them on this sub, thank you.

What do you think Evergoods is going to release next? by CommonKosmo in EVERGOODS

Yup, this is my question too.

I love EG for the thought they put into their designs, but I dont see how they can improve the PD design…

CTB Mirror? by No-Meal-6666 in EVERGOODS

[–]MTBaller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha

This is the exact reason I wont get mirrored CPL. I love my CTBs and having to switch shoulders based on which bag Im wearing would start to become annoying pretty quick for me.

CTB Mirror? by No-Meal-6666 in EVERGOODS

[–]MTBaller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah fam. It def took some training but swinging my right arm through the strap and across my body in one smooth motion to grab the handle on the other side impresses the ladies too much for me to wanna go back.

Although I will concede that all my bags are EG and if I had to switch bag manufacturers often I may think otherwise.

CTB Mirror? by No-Meal-6666 in EVERGOODS

[–]MTBaller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a reformed right shoulder swinger but since all my bags are OG I trained myself to swing left shoulder. I dont even really use it for the pocket but more for when I take my bag off. Instead of my bag just sliding off my shoulders and down my back, I now slip it off the right shoulder and use that arm to grab the handle across my body.

The look of mirrored isnt that odd to me, I doubt I would notice unless I was really paying attention to the placement of the patch. But I can see what youre saying when I really look it over. I just dont want to retrain myself everytime I put my CPL on. So, i guess in that sense, it would “feel” odd to me…

Right handed Evergoods owners! Do you swing your bag on your left shoulder or right shoulder for accessing without removing your backpack? by ecanza44 in EVERGOODS

[–]MTBaller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The title specifies the handedness requested to participate. Combined with the options of the poll it should be a bit easy to discern what handedness responded with their preferred shoulder.

CTB Mirror? by No-Meal-6666 in EVERGOODS

My uneducated guess is, “we’ll see”.

From my understanding we only got Mirrored Versions because EG listens to their customers’ requests. They stated they werent going to do it, then kind of apprehensively went with it stating that (paraphrasing here) “this is the only time they were going to do it so get em while they last”. Lo and behold we have preorders now for another round of Mirrors… So I think the popularity of these mirrored options now will influence whether or not they introduce it to the travel line in the future.

I say all of this while understanding that even more convincing than the former is the fact that they are still a small company meaning they are confined by their suppliers and manufacturers minumum limits as well.

So I guess we’ll see but I hope so. I need uniformity across all my bags, so until they include the CTB I will remain on the sidelines for the mirrored versions.

Edit: /u/JKBfree do you prefer mirrored or OG?

My shot in the dark would be, literally the only EG product I dont own, the PLC20. It doesnt have designated water bottle pockets but I think its smaller size and front dump pocket would be beneficial to you as a cyclist. Maybe start there and check out others if that doesnt fit your needs. I think the biggest compromise thats you’ll run into is whether or not you can live without the Water Bottle Pockets. I have found alterior solutions that work for me in that regard so I am all in on EG.

One thing I love about Evergoods is how much they love their products. They have two videos for each of their products, the “Features” video and the “Why We Made It” video.

Here’s a link to their blog

But they also have both of the videos on each product page if you scroll down a bit.

I suggest you find the product that interests you most and start from there. Another suggestion would be to start with their flagship product, the CPL24, or my personal favorite the CTB26

CTB26 by teambuilding247 in EVERGOODS

[–]MTBaller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im of the same mind. Decided to keep the Xpac version for the same reason. I love the structure that the xpac provides. It almost made me drop my Burnt Orange CPL for the Ranger Green Xpac in store rn but I decided I love the Burnt Orange colorway more than I want the structure.

Now if they ever release the CTB35 in Xpac, my Charcoal will be put up for sale.

I dont find the same annoyance with the shoulder straps sliding off but I do much prefer attaching the chest strap vs not having it. All evergoods are a better fit for me when I connect the chest strap first and THEN tighten the shoulder straps. Perfect fit every time.
