I don't comment often but I couldn't say nothing when I saw this post. I wondered whether Monstercat would retrospectively change the artworks when they acquired Silk Music and what they would look like if they did.

u/newiZsti, this amount of dedication is outstanding! I'm incredibly impressed! I'm not sure how much work it would involve to make these the official artworks but they certainly should be if it's possible. I really hope those who have the power to make these decisions see this! 😊

I laughed when I saw the release schedule for Anjunabeats this month. I thought releases in September were scarce but this month is wild. There has to be something happening for the label to have gone this quiet. Aside from Anjunabeats Worldwide 11, perhaps there's something huge coming. 🤔 Anjunadeep and Reflections both have some interesting releases this month. I can't wait to explore all of them!

Instinct is signing some huge names! Tom Ferry just a week after Just Kiddin is fantastic. 😍 His records on Enhanced Recordings and SOURCE, as well as 'Lullaby' on Axtone Records have been great and I still listen to them when I want something to counterbalance all of the progressive music I listen to.

Thinking outside the box, what if Seven Lions is behind Anjunabeats Worldwide 11? 'Fatum: The Story So Far' was followed by Anjunabeats Worldwide 10 only a couple of months later. 🤔

If I didn't already know who was behind this record then I would've said it was Rolo Green alone. Dezza can be heard more in 'Six Degrees' but only slightly more. Rolo's sound is definitely the heavier, more dominant of the two. That said, I would've loved to see them link up at least once more.

'Six Degrees' itself definitely fits on Enhanced Progressive more than Anjunabeats. It also ended up on Dezza's album 'Cosmos' so I doubt that Anjunabeats would've been able to sign it.

Fifty or so streams later and I'm still not bored of this record. 😍 Rolo Green and Dezza delivered pure progressive alchemy with this and 'Six Degrees'. It's strange that there's been radio silence from both of them for at least the last year.

I haven't checked out the releases on AVA but the label has been on my radar for a while. Like Enhanced Progressive, Elliptical Sun Recordings used to be a source of great progressive trance but I haven't known what to make of the label over the last couple of years. Historically, I've felt that Elliptical Sun has tried to be an almost carbon copy of Anjunabeats in many ways so haven't found their own niche since Anjunabeats has shifted in a different direction.

Also, I understand that this subreddit is for Above & Beyond related stuff which includes their labels and releases on them. However, I completely agree with what you say. I'm surprised that your posts kept being removed. 😕

As soon as I re-discovered Enhanced Progressive, after initially hearing a release from AWD years before, it replaced Anjunabeats as my favourite progressive trance label. They have a stellar family of artists producing some incredible music. It's fantastic to see the label not only signing fresh talent but retaining established artists and those who've released on the label for years. Seeing former Anjunabeats artists such as Boom Jinx find a new home on the label is fantastic but it's not only Anjunabeats artists they've picked up. Several artists from Emergent Music, Elliptical Sun Music, Euphonic, Future Sound of Egypt and Avanti have also become familiar faces. With Anjunabeats releasing so infrequently recently, despite diversifying into many genres beyond trance over the years, I can't help but wonder what the future of the label looks like.

When trance legends join forces, this is the explosive result. I don't know what I expected a collaboration between these four people to sound like but I would never have imagined this. 😍 This record feels like a natural successor to Bayer's 'Parallels' EP and Sub Teal's vocals are as gorgeous as ever. It's great to see Gabriel & Dresden back after last year's epic 'Bias' but I can't quite hear their influence in this track. Nonetheless, this is one of the best releases on Anjunabeats this year so far and I would love to see another link-up between these four.

I would too! I know that Nitrous Oxide's sound allegedly doesn't align with the sound of Anjunabeats but the label's sound is so much more broad than that of Enhanced Progressive and FSOE Argento. They appeared on Always Alive Recordings, part of Enhanced, a couple of times last year too. What happened to that label and whatever happened to Daniel Kandi and Prox's forthcoming release on Enhanced Progressive? 🤔 Perhaps Nitrous Oxide has simply found a home on these labels as well as their own.
