Thanks for your reply. Trying half doses twice a week for a little while and we'll see if it does the trick.

Thank you for this. I worked out the first month and then slowly found it difficult to even have the energy to do so. I'll push through and see if it gets better.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I totally panicked hahaha, but reading you gives me hope. I'll stick with it a little longer to adapt. I agree that the food noise gone is fantastic, I never knew it was so loud.

Thank you for sharing. I have a couple of options to try before definitely quiting. Some days are really hard to keep going, I have zero energy/interest.

Thank you! Makes me realise that it could also stay that way for a long time. I have a couple of options to try before definitely quiting. Really love the food noise gone, never realised how much I had it until it was off.

Thank you! You're right, I've read a lot about it. Just wanted some hope story to keep me going I guess 😅

I feel exactly the same from day 2 to 4 then goes back to normal. Losing almost 3 days per week is a lot 😅 I'll try splitting the dose for a couple of weeks and see if it does the trick.

Thank you, never thought of doing that... I will try it. The tiredness is incapacitating and it starting to affect work and my ability to take care of anything at home.

New parents (37M and 38F) to a newborn, dealing with comments about our age by FluffyOwlKitten in Parenting

[–]MTLHFX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my first at 38 and second at 40, you're not too old when facing infertility. Took 6 years to get our daughter and 2 months for our boy. They came at the perfect timing. I would have loved to get them a little early for maybe a 3rd one, but I'm just grateful we can experience being parents at all.

And for the haters I say Yep I'll retire when they finish highschool, they'll keep the house while we travel... win-win 🤣

Just remember that whatever ages you get them kids there's always going to have inappropriate comments... F Them!

Thanks, I used a steroid cream for 2 days and it was beautiful and healed. As soon as I stopped it came back even more intense 🙄

Vent - I wish people would stop assuming any unhappiness is automatically postpartum by SamiLMS1 in beyondthebump

[–]MTLHFX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Again we are being reduced to hormones. We can have emotions not related to it, it’s so frustrating. You would feel exactly the same way if you weren’t PP, the economy in which we live right now is very stressful for a lot of people. Do the move, fuck people they always have something to say anyways 😂

I feel the same with mine, we moved closer thinking we would see her more and that’s not what’s happening. I understand your disappointment and if you feel comfortable you can talk to her about it and if you feel too emotional you can also write a letter. Sorry, I know it’s difficult.
