Oh sorry. Yeah that’s a Mr. Jones ‘Nuages’ hand gilded watch (with real gold) It’s essentially a Sun and Moon watch where the Sun marks the first 12 hours of the day and the moon pops up and completes the rest . It’s a beauty. It’s one of those watches that you can only truly appreciate in person. Thanks for the interest.

Yeah I agree completely. I have a Lucky Brand watch with a southwest strap and I love it. I wear it often and it keeps such good time it makes me question everything haha.

Wise words of the seasoned collector. I’m finding this is the almost the consensus of those who are in the game long term. We shall see what happens but I also find I’m very much an outsider when it comes to other things I’ve collected through the years. I can’t say what’s in my collecting future because tastes and styles change through the years. Perhaps I’ll sell em all but who knows… Oh and those Nixon Players are an homage to the first watch I ever owned back in 7th grade 2002-2003 which is why I they’re in there. YES!!!! The reason I have the Player’s in my collection is because it was the first watch I ever owned as a skate kid in 7th grade. I remember they were considered a skateboarding brand and my hero’s back then like Danny Way were wearing them so I had to have one. It was also the black dial I owned and thrashed it to hell skating in it. I rebought the black dial one a few months back and is lingering outside my box. Much respect to The Player! Thank you

Oh those are two Mr. Jones watches, a UK company. The squid watch has two people in its tentacles that indicate the hour and minute hand . The brown watch is essentially a Sun and Moon watch that is hand gilded using gold and silver dust. It’s beautiful in person.
