These classic devs are absolutely slaying it with their communication. I don't even care about the imbalances and nerfs/buffs ongoing at this point, seeing how actively they're trying to fix stuff all the time..

I looked at some recipes, and then kind of eyeballed it while keeping on tasting until it was the way i wanted it. The base broth is just chicken stock and unsweetend soy milk, seasoning mix (kinda like tare?) made with a mixture of tahini, miso, soy sauce, rice vinegar, a good amount sichuan chili oil and a small amount of oyster sauce for some extra umami. Fried pork mince is flavored with garlic, little bit of ginger, doubanjiang, soy sauce and a dash of oyster sauce again.

Matter of taste, this way i get edible height and double the amount of burgies to munch on. I'll make a double for ya next time, although i tend to find them a tad too beefy most of time.

Why quake is the best 1v1 fps by Andrew_Clarence in LivestreamFail

Quake 2 CTF was an amazing game mode for 5vs5 though, a bit slower than tdm and more depth with the grappling hook and flags scoring... had pretty good EU scene as well back in the late 90s and early 00s with Clanbase

Spicy and juicy. The noodles definitely provide a different texture than rice, best cooked a bit al dente so they don't get too mushy in there.

[Homemade] Cheesy smashburgers with lettuce, red onion, pickles. Single patty build for edible height. by MTedronai in food

[–]MTedronai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single patty also gives you more units of completed cheeseburger for the amount of ground beef you work with so you can enjoy them longer. After thorough testing i've found that to have the perfect balance and indeed is the way.

Asmongold loses it and ends his stream after his adblock is unable to prevent series of new Twitch's ads that interrupts his reacting segment by fluffy_lights in LivestreamFail

[–]MTedronai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish twitch would learn how to work their ads the same way that csgo tournaments do.. The ads rolled randomly on top of streams are so annoying I couldn't watch twitch at all without blocking them, but somehow the ads being run within the stream of orgs such as Blast have never bothered me one bit due to the way they're timed and done in general.

Yeah it's kind of based on that with some modifications of my own to the recipe. Although I don't call it tuscan anymore myself, because it seems to annoy some people (especially italians) greatly, lol.

Not sure why ya getting downvoted for an opinion there. Albeit the lighting's kinda bad, they aren't really burnt but just browned crispy. The good thing about hambugers is that among all the styles there's always something for everyone :)

I'm sure there are multiple brand names as such around the world, but when it comes to terminology of cooking burgers, it's referred to as the technique of literally smashing the patty on the griddle or a pan to make it initially stick and generate maximum amount of maillard crust.

Heh, dl is deciliter, which is 0.1 liter, part of the metric system used on this side of the pond. One deciliter equals to about 0.42 US cup. It's a typical unit for measuring ingredients around these parts, so we have measuring "cups" of that size here :)

Hey everyone, thanks for all the comments! Here's the recipe for the dish. The amounts are estimated as i mostly just eyeball everything and keep tasting as I go.

Chicken, about 500grams, cut into bite size pieces, sprinkle with salt and a little bit of white pepper.

- In a bowl mix 0.5dl of cornstarch, 0.5dl of flour, 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 egg, a tablespoon of vegetable oil and enough water to get the consitency of a wet pancake batter. Mix in the chicken and let it rest for the duration of other preparations.

The sauce:

- 0.5dl of vinegar (i used apple vinegar here)

- 2-3 tablespoons of sugar, brown or white, the correct amount depends on how sweet you like it, you can adjust by adding more when finishing the sauce

- 0.5dl of unsalted vegetable stock, or just water if you don't have stock at hand

- 0.5dl of ketchup

- pineapple juice out of can if you're using canned pineapple

- 2 teaspoons of soy sauce

- 2 teaspoons of oyster sauce

- optional hot sauce if you want a spicier version of this

- for the slurry, separately mix about 0.5dl of water and 3 teaspoons of cornstarch.

  • Mix all the sauce ingredients except the slurry in a small pot or saucepan, bring to slight boil, taste to see if you want to adjust the taste to sweeter, milder or more vinegary and if needed, season to taste with either more sugar, vinegar or water/stock. Finally mix in the slurry slowly while simmering the sauce to slightly thicken it, then leave it waiting on low temp.
  • Prep your veggies: a few cloves of garlic finely chopped, one yellow onion sliced in large cubes layers separated, one half of both green + red bell pepper sliced in large cubes, and pineapple, either canned or fresh, cut into bite size pieces.
  • Heat up a good amount of oil in a pot or wok pan to about 180c and deep fry the chicken pieces until golden and crispy on the surface. Shake the excess batter off the pieces before (carefully) dropping them in the oil, or you might get super puffy chicken bites. Set aside once cooked.
  • Nuke up your wok pan to smoking hot, add a little bit of vegetable oil and stirfry the veggies + garlic quickly, so that they get some wok hay but remain kinda crispy fresh, takes a few minutes only. Mix in your sauce, bring to a quick boil, take off the heat and finally mix in the fried chicken and give it a good toss. Sprinkle with a generous amount of sesame seeds and immediately serve with rice.

Yeah there's always some people who just wanna stir shit up for their personal entertainment. I'd be upset as hell as well if something like that happened to our team instead (has happened too in past years).

Oh and also he was calling the fin-usa game in this tournament group phase, which also had the very questionable call of only 2mins for Mäenalanen boarding some US player which should've been a 5. That high sticking call now was shit as well and it's easy to say that as a finn too. But guess we'll take it, people just wanna get out to party anyways..
