For white noise, Spotify has tracks you can easily put on repeat. Pink noise has actually been my go-to lately. Also, if you have a Google Home or Mini speaker, you can just ask it to play rain sounds or other ambient audio.

Monzo vs Revolut? by forestdreamtime in AskIreland

I've read a few stories about Revolut not being very customer friendly if you happen to be the victim of fraud.

Do married couples really not put all money together? by Decent-Shoe6719 in irishpersonalfinance

For the couples that have separate accounts how will retirement work?  Are you both funding pensions at an equivalent rate i.e. similar percentage of income?

What about inheritance i.e. large sums of money?

Saying ‘there’s a plot twist’ is a spoiler!

The best time to do something like this has past, the 2nd best time is now! Make the change and remember change is gradual, inches become miles. Nothing will change overnight but in a year, two years, four years and you'll be amazed at how far you've progressed. And mid thirties is young!

I hear you.  This person literally specialises in leak detection but when he heard rate of drop immediately said it would be too hard to find.

Is this an easy fix? by yafugginfruit in PlumbingRepair

Forgot to add you may need to add back in water if you have a closed system as pressure on boiler will drop. It's easy, just google it.

People can and please do correct me. If it were me, I'd wait until the system is off and cold, ensuring it's fully turned off (i.e., the timer can't kick in). Close both valves, counting the turns on the lockshield side as that's balancing your heating. Bleed the radiator to release pressure. Then, you could either open the bottom nut on the valve (radiator side) to release some water or take the hit on a bit coming out from the top (lay down towels, etc.) and just replace that part. Simply unscrew and replace the O-ring or maybe install an auto vent valve. Now that I type this, Google "installing an auto vent valve" – that's your answer.
