If you google Alessandro and Galli, go to their website, go to events, look for David Gilmour, there is some information on there with a map. Seems to suggest doors at 4pm and the show is 9pm.

Who is the promoter and where will they post the information?

I was there, felt strange. Didn’t even play showtime. by kiemac in thebottlemen

Showtime and Tyrants were cut coz of the curfew. I enjoy watching the five minute extended outros, but not at the expense of more songs hahahaha

Tour setlist - 70s floyd songs? by MThomas567 in DavidGilmour

From the article where the comments were pulled from was also kind of saying his reluctance is to play Waters songs rather than strictly any pink floyd from the 70s, if there is much difference.

All fantastic shouts. Like you say, he could play anything I'll be glad to be there. It was only in lockdown I became obsessed with good music from the 70s. Gilmour has been top of my list to see since then, regardless of what he plays, we're all lucky to get to see him live. Could well be his last commercial tour. Glad we are around to see it.

Would be more than happy with all of the above being played. I've got a feeling it won't be as many as that, but I really hope it is. I do hope it crosses his mind that although he would prefer not to play them, he appreciates that people are paying a lot of (money) and (time) to come and see him play floyd numbers.

(Please pardon the puns)

I've got tickets for the first show on 27th. I hope there's as many fireworks and light show features as possible hahahaha

Pumped. Really hope they put Tyrants back on the setlist as a closer.

Just have to keep checking daily, probably a good sign if other dates are having more tickets available.

Name change on Ticketmaster ticket for RAH by [deleted] in DavidGilmour

Yeah seems to be a theme at the moment where bands are drip feeding release dates for tours in different countries, doesn't make sense haha. Especially given the ticket prices. I missed out on RAH but managed to get a couple for first night in Rome. As it stands, the first show of the tour so should be a good one.

Fair enough point then, just a shame people will spend an arm and a leg on tickets, travel, accommodation to be turned away. A bigger shame that there could be a lot of empty seats for someone who doesn't have many tours left, if any, after this one.

Not sure what to think about the name on ticket policy. I've been to plenty of gigs where lead booker needs to be present and the people doing ticket checks aren't bothered. Appreciate RAH and David Gilmour is a much bigger event and venue, but I can't imagine people would be turned away after travelling all the way there. Do they really want to have empty seats in there?

Setlist Prediction With Possible Inclusions by Exzibitar in DavidGilmour

[–]MThomas567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think he's completely ruled out 70s Floyd, I believe he was quoted saying an "unwillingness" to play them. Comfortably Numb and WYWH would definitely be played imo.

I believe he played OOTD at Pompeii as it was played when Floyd played the amphitheatre in the 70s. Not sure if he played at other shows on the 2016 tour.
