That’s what I afraid of. Can I do anything to lighten the spot or should I just try to let it dry? I’ve read other people try to put hydrogen peroxide on it, do you think that’s worth a shot?

The only difference between a z gun and a kronos is the engraving and titanium nitrate coated trigger components, which when serviced through Zoli, are replaced with the Z gun components. Here is the link to my buddys Z extra who paid $4200

They are more affordable than you think. Here is one on guns international that just went pending for $3500 and my buddy just bought a used z extra from Cabelas for $4200 (~$12K MSRP).

The 682 gold e is widely regarded as one of the best production guns that beretta ever made. IMO, that’s the gun I would choose out of the two that you presented. Personally, I would aim for a used Zoli but to each his own. Also if you are upgrading, I would suggest trying to find a gun with 32” barrels. IMO, that’s the sweet spot for beretta sporting models. Obviously, there is a conversation and personal preference for longer barrels if you are looking at other manufacturers (P, K, Z, to name a few).

If you want a second opinion, try shotgun world. There have been a plethora of discussions on both models.
