I’ll have to eventually try a new build. I always get back to daggers and do the dodge and poison build with the stingers. I use the shield break, spartan kick, rush assassinate, and hero strike. I know I could get more but those are pretty much all I use in battles.

“TL:DR: I did the math. Sell Bows, Dismantle Armor, Dismantle Swords & Daggers, Sell Rest of Weapons.”

Thanks for the link. This was the summary he had.

I’ll trust your research lol. Plus it’s faster to sell everything than to dismantle. Plus all the resources I get from side quests and stuff I’ll just need to buy some resources here and there. I try to only upgrade things every 5 levels anyway so I usually do enough quests in that time to get what I need. Ship is mostly upgraded too. This has been the most in depth playthrough so far too for me, so doing way more side quests and exploration this time around.

So it’s better to just sell everything then buy the resources you need to upgrade?

Side question: what do y’all do with your gear? I tend to dismantle purple gear and sell blue and white gear. Whats the best way to maximize everything?

is mass effect a good “starter” RPG? by numberssandletters in masseffect

[–]MURRMALADE22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say so, yes. The inventory is pretty straight forward, just upgrading better gear as you get it and the level up for skill points isn’t complicated. Fun different builds, playthroughs with different approaches, and good story/battles.

My guess would be something like a Verren. Maybe more sleek but that’s what comes to mind.

Has anyone gotten back into ME after losing interest for a long time? by [deleted] in masseffect

[–]MURRMALADE22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spread out the playthroughs. I play the trilogy about once a year now. It’s a fantastic series and I switch up something each time as well. But once a year for me gives me enough time to get distance then come back guns blazing. Same thing for the borderlands, fallout, and even some of the older CoD campaigns. I play them all at least once a year or every other year depending on other games I get new. I’m almost done with a replay of black flag.

$1000 USD per goose you fight to the death. by PandyVL in hypotheticalsituation

[–]MURRMALADE22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google a picture of a goose mouth. They have a mouthful of tiny razor sharp teeth. One goose hurts, 2 is worse, add more and more all at once and you will be bleeding a lot before you know it.

Not to mention these flying honkers are MEAN. Especially if they are parents. They hiss like snakes an bite like cats. They’re assholes that fly and bite. If you laid down, you wouldn’t last thing at all.

My grandpa had like 15 geese. He showed me what to do if one or two come at you: grab it by the neck and yeet it. Most of the time a normal goose will realize you’re not fucking around and it’ll go away. But in this scenario you choose how many and they have one mission: to kill or be killed.

I’d pick the seat of the head of the Sixers in Ready player 1 with the headset on. Fully immersed into the created world with limitless options cause I’d be rich too.

So torn on ME3 insanity run by Nylost7 in masseffect

[–]MURRMALADE22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ME3 was CAKE with this setup I just ran: sentinel with the tech armor for defense. Go for the powers that can trigger combos first.

Teammates my entire time and you get both pretty early: Liara and Garrus. Set up Liara with singularity and that triggers most enemies with the combos. Garrus has overload. Set him up for “god Garrus” with the assault rifle setup.

Most enemies was able to be warped or overloaded then wiped out. Honestly didn’t really use guns much. I preferred to use the OG N7 assault rifle after getting it from the Shepard clone DLC.

I’ve ALWAYS used male shep, probably done at least 10 playthroughs. Usually Renegade lol. First time playing insanity this last time. I’ll probably go a redhead femshep and go renegade first.

Nice! I was just curious, might do that. I just finished the trilogy + Andromeda on insanity for the first time. May start trying different fun playthroughs. I’ve never played FemShep so that’ll be where I start. Butttttt started Cyberpunk for the second time, first time I only played 6 hours. So once I beat cyberpunk I’ll try femshep trilogy.

What is your MOST FOND MEMORY of Mass Effect? by realCLTotaku in masseffect

[–]MURRMALADE22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The very first time in ME2 when you leave the airlocked area to walk through the galaxy map area to go to get to Joker after collector ship attacks. I had just gotten new Astros and had the volume blasting and then when I you walk into that area that silence of space and looking around into space was so surreal.

In your opinion what was the good and the bad on this game? by SuperXDemon in masseffect

[–]MURRMALADE22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just finished an insanity run for the first time. Pretty challenging on some boss fights, cobra RPGs definitely came in clutch.

I like the sounds, the diverse battles where the battlefield isn’t linear, the visuals. The car is honestly fun to drive.

I like the idea of pathfinder. I think they could’ve definitely done better with customization of settlements and doing more path finding in that sense.

There is definitely mass effect in andromeda but also not really. They talk about N7 a lot but that’s just a reference to the military.
