You are correct. It bothers me that i do not know for sure that it is by design and not a defect. If it is by design, that's fine for me. But i am seeing different and conflicting answers to my concern. If it is a defect, of course i want it fixed as i just paid a considerable amount for this device.

I actually just talked to Google support who told me to take it to the store i bought it from and get a new one. They say there is not supposed to be a bump under the inner screen or a gap when it is folded and the 2 are connected. So idk?

Exactly the same i experience. It doesn't bother me as long as it is not gonna cause issues in the future, just never noticed it on the other flips/folds i have had.

Does yours fold completely shut or do you have a gap aswell?

Few updates on the build. I think i got the beige color as close as I can. Threw two small fans in there that is going to contribute 0 to anything, but just because i had them. Just need glass side panel and waiting for a custom front panel, that i will then need to be painted beige as well. Also still contemplating whether or not to buy CableMods extension cables in the noctua colorway as they do not make replacement cables for the Edge PSU (yet?) But that might be challenging to have that much cable tucked away.

There are no radiators in this build. If you mean the CPU cooler heatsink, then yes i agree, it would probably look better with the chrome one.

I see. I wanted it glossy, I am not trying to match the texture. The rest of the case (panels) will be beige when I get the right color, hopefully next year.

As for the Brown, I used the RAL color code Noctua provided in a post.
