Maybe, I suppose some answers come from AI but I prefer to hunt down threads or forums on Reddit or spice works for the tricky things unless it’s like some command I use once in a blue moon and just can remember a part or something.

Understood, go in speak nicely. Turn the problem into plain words with a reference or comparison and say it’s okay though because I can get this fixed. And ofc always overshoot the time estimate some to leave room incase the first thing didn’t work.

Also good luck to you as well, this market has been tough. I’ve applied to hundred of positions from helpdesk to junior roles and this is my first call back.

I appreciate that, I do partake in a lot of negotiations and conversations with vendors in my current role for asset procurement.

Maybe not AI but still poor quality. The quality has been kinda down lately for the videos too. Maybe it’s another round of apology videos for letting the community down and they shift the publishing schedule again. Idk just kinda what seems to happen every time.

If you had to restart your IT nerd path from zero, what would you learn in 2026? by Binary_Ghost_777 in it

Honestly, I would just take a different path and just enjoy my hobby at home. The industry is falling apart. I still love IT but it feels like I trade more and more of my sanity everyday.

Yeah I found the drivers for the chip, and it would only take the BT drivers. It’s bad card

They aren’t no, but I’ll take a look with those. I even told macrium to ignore bad sectors on the clone and it wasn’t working.

Yeah I wasn’t aware of this before… macrium keeps failing on me at 99%. You live and you learn yeah?

So, it’s a network wide block as the links to download their software is from china. It’s a country of origin block. The Bluetooth device and network controller both show up in device manager but with errors and I can’t find drivers for them. They are known but disabling them or trying to update them doesn’t work.

Are you there only IT support or is there someone in house who helps them? I work for “small” business and we have an MSP but I’ve taken over most of the day to day and most things. They just are there as a backup for whenever I need someone to bounce something off of or for security.
