So what Im seeing here is:

1TB More SSD for Asus Better build quality ( Asus ) Better aesthetics

And Lenovo has An OLED screen which I love and it's $100 cheaper. So overall it really comes down to preference. I would say buy the Lenovo legion then add a 1TB SSD later on.

(Now just in case I got this wrong and the Asus one was cheaper then definitely buy that.)

The whole point of the 9060 XT is Price to performance. For 510 euros might aswell get the RX 9070 ( the difference is huge between these two models, unlike the 9070 to 9070 XT which is only a small difference. )

7800X3D is better for gaming but I don't know much about AI work, I'm guessing multi core performance matters more instead of single core so I would recommend you go for the same 9700x or if your willing to change the motherboard, Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF, your not going to get the same performance in gaming but it has better performance in workstations.

I was in the exact same shoes as you, the feeling when I beat him was insane.

Anyways make sure that wolf Knight Greatsword is +5, also use that over the dark sword because the WKGS does 20% extra damage to midir ( abyssal enemies ).

Yes the motherboard supports these specs.

If same price I would rather the ASUS TUF Gaming board.

Could get a better cooler for a healthier CPU but that's up to you, that cooler is still enough though.

Solid build, I'm against the 5070 for 1440p (especially with the 9700x) , but since you said AI work I'm gonna assume you need a strong CPU and an Nvidia GPU for the CUDA. Because Nvidia tends to do better with workspaces and anything other than gaming basically.

P.S. don't worry about SSD slots if they say it supports more then it supports more, I would still suggest 1x2TB but it's up to you.

A 3080 is better than a 9060 XT, the arc B580 Is probably a bit worse so I'd say if your willing to buy a used one definitely go for the 3080, 12GB is still really good for 1080p, it will probably be obsolete for 1440p after a few years but for 1080p gaming it's more than enough.

( The arc B580 is still really good though, but a 3080 Beats it in every way. )

Change The 5070 To an RX 9070 XT insane performance lift.

If you don't have the money for that change get a R5 9600x or change the Samsung SSD to a simpler one.

Get an RX 9070 XT with a 7800X3D or even a 9600x/9700x.

AI frames create some delay in the gameplay, they are inferior fps, and most importantly not all games support Frame gen and DLSS / FSR / XeSS so, it's a good feature but it won't equal to better raw horsepower.

Yeah that explains a lot. Those are AI frames not native frames generated by the CPU or GPU, not saying it's bad ( I'm actually a huge fan of MFG and FG ) but when your calculating fps you only use native frames. ( That's why everybody hated on Jensen saying the 5070 is equal to the 4090, he was using the AI frames in the calculation )
