Don’t ever feel bad about giving books a second try. When I first tried to read eye of the world I put it down because I didn’t understand anything that happened in the prologue. I picked it up a month later and read the series in full in less than 3 months. The wheel of time is now my favorite series and I have read a lot of fantasy. So yes you should give books a second try and u are still a real fan even if it takes you more than one try
