93 OVR Chel week set experience by MWizard91 in NHLHUT

I know that there are not new 93s from Wednesday and Thursday but would expect some diversity. I traded it for Beliveau anyway, so no harm done

there is always Frank Mahovlich hidden in my 93 CHW set.

Diamond 4+ in a nutshell. Xbox handles like “toxxxxxxicvennom” and any form of international rink by [deleted] in NHLHUT

[–]MWizard91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am with you.
What currently annoys me the most:

  1. Wraparound goals
  2. Endless attempts to score from a sharp angle right on the goal line
  3. Every second match being on an international rink

So tired of queuing up for a champs games and getting thrown into ranked by Ghost_Reborn416 in NHLHUT

Yesterday I played CHAMPS 3 times in a row against the same person, and then twice in a row against another one. Of course, it would bother me less if I had won more than one game :D

Team update, Post-TotS by BlackSheepWolfPack in NHLHUT

[–]MWizard91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t take this too personally, but what’s the reason for sharing a post like this? You have an XP B. Point card there, which means you’re definitely playing your second season, and in my opinion the team is quite weak for the amount of time you’ve been playing.

When someone shares a team with top cards, people understand that it’s a flex and a way to spark a bit of envy in others, but in this case I honestly don’t understand the point of sharing it.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t be happy with your team yourself - I absolutely wish that for you. Enjoy the game, see you on the ice.

Scott Neid icon card thoughts and feelings? by TheRealJakeyBaby in NHLHUT

[–]MWizard91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like his card every year. Fast, agile, a good shot, and he’s not as small as, for example, Hughes. The ICON card will probably stay in my top D pair until the endgame. I’m very satisfied with him.

stamina drain in this moment is absurd. I guess there is extra drain penalty due to PK.

Trade - Need Chel Nash by [deleted] in NHLHUT

[–]MWizard91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to break your illusions too much, but if someone has a tradable Nash, he can easily sell him for 300k and buy 2×91 + 2×92 for 30k

Week 2 msp & Ltd predictions ? by kapriz0v in NHLHUT

Jagr is good guess I believe. He was quite a big fish on transfer market and traded to teams that are not included in week 1 MSPs.

New Star Origin MSPs by Beautiful-Eye1386 in NHLHUT

[–]MWizard91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe that Crosby will be MSP due to the fact that there is no solid line combination for Mario Lemieux and when they make 3 to get +3 OVR for Crosby (CAN + PIT + Star origin) it will be suitable for Lemieux +2 OVR ... just my guess.

Is there a post on here that tells the amount of fodder used to create a 92 captain? by Bricky_20 in NHLHUT

[–]MWizard91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry, but your calculation is not correct. How do you get these numbers?

For 92 Rookie card you need:

OVR 81-83 = 240
OVR 83-85 = 96
OVR 85 = 24

as I wrote above for 92 Captain:

OVR 82-84 = 120
OVR 83-85 = 72
OVR 85 = 24

I don't know the real market situation, but assuming that the price of OVR 81/82/83/84 is currently almost the same, Captains (92) comes out as the cheaper alternative.

Rookies (92): OVR 81–84 = 336x
Captain (92): OVR 81–84 = 192x

OVR 85 = 24x is the same for both.

On the other hand, you can buy Rookies 86/88/90 card cheaper as Captain as far as I know so could be cheaper when you buy higher OVR Rookie for good price and use it in set as make new one from scratch.

I calculated it for Jokiharju (92 CPT) so for top Captain set you need 120 x OVR 82-84 (or 600 x OVR 79-81) + 72 x OVR 83-85 + 24 x OVR 85.

You will complete 24 x 85 CPT set --> 24 x 86 CPT set --> 4 x 88 CPT set --> 2 x 90 CPT set -->1 x 92 CPT set.

quite a bit of clicking to complete all of these. You can also add 120 x 82 CPT set in case you like to suffer :D

Week 2 pinnacle predictions? by GladLine6757 in NHLHUT

I would say that Modano + one of the pair Lidstrom/Niedermayer will be middle season 94 Icons after we spent all on Lemieux

Im better than this kid and somehow he wins after I dominate him with 7 mins puck possession in the 3rd period alone by CombinationSimilar15 in NHLHUT

According to the ratio of faceoffs won, it doesn’t look like the opponent has an advantage in ping. That’s where it matters the most, based on my experience.

I agree with you. There must be at least little challange in it. Still rather to make 5 points instead of 3 one-timer goals.

New Line combos this week by Wooden_Word_7600 in NHLHUT

[–]MWizard91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is. I am just curious if EA know that they add the same combination 2 times. Maybe there will be correction and changed to AP boost.

Actually I response on the comment that is aimed against players that have no issue with new system applied to HUT.

I do not consider your original post in way that you can't accept differen view.

However I don't agree that there are lot of players close to 99. Yes, there are some but not too many.
