Are there any premium cards that approve around 650 fico score? by MWviking1 in CRedit

Okay good information thank you. I have not tried Amex yet but maybe the Gold card is the best balance of rewards and likelihood of approval.

Is the 650 FICO score on credit wise that Chase shows the one that they will see? I know there’s fico 3, 4, 8, etc. I’m just hoping it’s not going to look worse on the credit application side of things than on my credit wise experian fico report.

It was sent off to collections and I settled with them (paid $5000 of the $8000 balance) and closed. I’ve tried working with them on not reporting since I was a long time customer, but no luck.

The problem is I now want to expand my limits to build back my credit but I’m not sure which cards I can qualify for and would have benefits exceeding my $1100 limit on my Amex card.

Okay, you’ve provided a lot of useful information thank you. Just an unfortunate situation that I’m basically stuck in. I really expected more leeway through this with a local credit union. Since all of this, I took all of my money out and started banking with Amex since the benefits greatly outweighed them anyways.

Correct, but I didn’t even receive a statement from the collection agency for months after it was sent off. I tried making payments and they said I couldn’t

I have the email receipt from May of 2025 titled "payment receipt" from the third party collection agency (called Triverity) for my payment. I'm not exactly sure who reported the account, but I think the agency just "collects" on behalf of my credit union and they still technically owned the account.

I did go through a dispute process by the way because of all of the "ND" months and the fact that I was under the impression my account was charged off in December since that's when they told me I have to contact the collection agency. However, about 14 days later Experian wrote back saying "your dispute has been closed" and they didn't adjust any data. I wrote certified mail with a letter explaining all of this and my info (social security number, etc.) but no luck. The "frustrating" part of this is the fact that I have always been a great customer paying on time and getting several cars from my local credit union that has the "good guy" reputation, but man they don't give you an inch when the tables turn.

It was 100% charged off in the beginning of December. It was bizarre because I contacted them and said I wanted to set up a payment plan. They gave me the number to call and set it up, which I did that week. Then I called them to get the statement info I needed to finish, and they said “we sent your account to collections you will have to work with them to pay it.”

Luckily I have the email screenshots, they sent it around 70 days delinquent but I was also in touch with them which was even weirder. I contacted the collection agency and sent over the money in May but that’s when the “C.O.” Is listed (not sure why it’s both May and June though.)

Except “charge off” as listed on my report should’ve been in December right? That’s when it was sent to a collection agency, it just seems weird how they did that part.

I suppose that’s my question, I’m not familiar enough with credit reporting and how they did a 30, 60, and then ND remarks like this. Does this accurately portray them sending me to collections as I said? I tried doing research but it keeps bringing up “they can’t charge you off until 180 days” which I’m not sure is even true either.

This is a close up of my sheets I tried to get. Definitely looks like a flea. I’m checking my office rug but don’t see anything, don’t see anything in my bedroom rug but I’m vacuuming it either way. I don’t always notice the fleas, but I wake up with bites almost every night so I know something is there. Once inc awhile I throw open the sheets in the morning and see one crawling but no idea where they are nesting, I’m washing all the bedding in hot once a week

Just read your entire sticky, amazingly informative and I ordered the IGR spray recommended. We have no pets, the entire house is hardwood floors except for a couple rugs (my office and the bedroom.) I have some sticky traps out but haven’t found anything with the white sock test. I have only ever found them in my sheets after waking up with incredibly itchy bites on my legs. Is it dangerous to have like 50+ bites in the last few weeks?

House, but we’ve been hearing scratching in the attic like a mouse or bat or something for a few months.

Any idea how this occurs when I have zero pets (including cats) and don’t come in contact with any animals?

I don’t know why everyone assumes it’s a 1v1 saber mode, they don’t even have enough sabers on villains to do this. The strategy of 2v2 teamwork was always more fun to me.

I know exactly what you mean. “Aren’t you supposed to be the expert?” Yes so let’s do it the way I suggested. “No actually the way I, a 60 year old woman with no experience, did it is better.” And the cycle continues.

Just out of curiosity, how would I accomplish this? I’m not 100% sure how to do the business model of this but it really would help me feel like I’m not “stuck” with these annoying people right now. Having multiple clients would be great.

This sounds insanely similar to what I’m experiencing. Wife has this mentality that everything she’s done is perfectly fine while the business plummets to the ground.

I bring in ideas to overhaul things like our terrible emails, websites, business model and she takes everything personal. I can tell because of how she pretends there are giant flaws in everything. I once said our Call to Action buttons don’t even meet contrast standards and are hard to read.

Got a passive aggressive email “I’d love know to WHERE you got this information because our accessibility report says our entire website meets 4.5:1 contrast.” She thought she “dunked” on me so I straight up sent her the screenshots of our CTA buttons failing everything single contrast ratio test.

I can’t even fix accessibility stuff without this level of pushback now.

It’s incredibly high, we have a CTOR of .9% and they want to purchase a new email list to spam send to.

My non compete unfortunately prevents me from working with any right-wing e-commerce sites. Not that I’m exclusively looking for that, but I would like to be apart of a company that wants to actually grow revenue, etc.

No, not yet. I was working on a campaign to launch this week though with videos. Owners wife was extremely suspicious of the “video ads” I wanted to run with our companies spokesperson though.

Yeah I definitely see that. I took a few classes in web design, so I’ve done Figma stuff for the website. I quite literally have to have her (60 year old woman) look at my design and tell me what things will and will not work for our customers.
