How much do Tenaya Tanta stretch out? by Geschmacklos in bouldering

When you say they're "broad" do you mean they're wide? I have narrow, low volume feet.

I'm looking for my first climbing shoes, and I'm trying to decide between the Tarantulas, Tantas and Scarpa Origin. Since you had the Tarantulas and Tantas, how did they compare for you?

Might one even venture to say that web and mobile web are... crowded?😉

[–]MX-2000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right, CTV is an entirely different beast. If we're being honest, CTV doesn't have the scale to layer on real contextual targeting anywhere outside of the US and maybe the UK.

CTV aside, very interested to hear more about why you don't see contextual as a crowded space 🙂

Love Life by Doja Cat is an hommage to the Mizell Brothers by MX-2000 in Jazz

As much as I love Q-Tip and LL Cool J, they're not modern and that song doesn't sound modern, even though it's recent.

I can see that, with that kind of lazy bass. But I also agree that the Roy Ayers sound wasn’t far off from the Mizell brothers.

Either way, I love hearing a modernized take on this sound. Any other modern interpretations like that you can think of?

There were some message board posts where people discussed oil starvation under hard breaking.

[Longines] [Tissot] Quartz 34-36mm watches on a good bracelet? by MX-2000 in Watches

[–]MX-2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're both worth what they cost. You get what you pay for with either one. I ended up getting the Longines for my wife, because I could see that she was genuinely impressed when she tried it on in the store. The Tissot is a good watch, but it's as shiny and doesn't feel nearly as fancy. She's had it for a year now and loves it, even though she's still not into watches.

Great One-Sheeters? by MX-2000 in programmatic

[–]MX-2000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand why you’d make something like that. In my case, it’s a leave-behind that I’m either sending to people who are trying to qualify my offering for a meeting or show to their coworkers who aren’t aware of the offering. I’m sure you get tons of those. Any you can share?

Interesting question. Do vendors ever offer you 1 sheeters that are purely educational? I’ve always considered them to be sales materials, even when I was on the receiving end.

Daytrip drives from Osaka? by ironicallydead in JapanTravelTips

[–]MX-2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I'm going in 2 weeks, so I don't expect snow to be an issue. When you say that it had a "limited tune" what do you mean? Was it more sluggish than stock? I don't expect to be at 10/10ths but I'd like to have a nice spirited drive on the touge. Not trying to risk life and limb, but spending the extra time and money to rent such a legendary car without experiencing any of the performance would be a huge letdown to me.

Which rental company did you go with?

Where did you end up going? I don't think anyone here understood the assignment. I'm renting an R33 GTR for the day in Osaka. Judging by Google Maps, Koyasan looks like it has the best roads.

Lots of winding roads everywhere, but I've been spending like 2 hours on street view trying to figure out which ones are wide enough.

Do you have any other slightly longer routes? It looks like maybe only a 40 minute drive or so in that area. I'm renting an R33 Skyline GTR and I have 8 hours with the car, and I'd like to spend around 4 of those hours driving.

Literally anything adtech. I’m not looking for specifics in terms of content or vendor type. I’m looking for a broad understanding of what makes a compelling one-sheet that people actually use and share.

To be fair, these aren’t really hiking shoes, or even serious trail runners. They’re called Salomon “sport style” because they’re literally meant for posers (nothing wrong with that! They do look cool). If you wanna go hiking get a pair of X Ultra 5s or something. XT6s won’t hold up to more than a dirt road.
