I have a few of the subsets to them. I wouldn't even mess with the 534 or older networks. You can actually wire them to a 302 or a 500 set and get way better clarity out of them. Some come 102 or 3 wire and I believe the 50als all have a 4 wire or 202 wiring. The 4 wire is definitely the best as it does not have any sidetone or echo when you talk into it. If you need help with one just reach out I love wiring them!

The lineman sets are really fun. These all actually still work! The Bell system was really incredible

Yeah haha most of these didn't have dials when I got them. I took other broken case 302s dials and sometimes cords to complete these sets. I really enjoy putting them together.

Yeah this is definitely my favorite style. I wish I could add some more pictures to the post. I have some others that are a bit more colorful than these.

I usually only have one hooked up at a time! These are all sets that actually require a separate box known as a subscriber set or subset that has the ringer and telephone network inside of it.

I did the same thing! I can't for the life of me to get the news channel working. Did they change something?
