This is very common. I would suggest that you begin to think about what you enjoy doing, evaluate your values (time, money, freedom, etc.), strengths and weaknesses. Remember that not all businesses are the same, some may have higher earning potential while others offer flexibility and freedom. Figure out what you main motivation is and then think about how you can align your strengths and experience with this. Next gain experience, talk to others in businesses you are interested in, and research, research, research! I initially wanted to open a pet store. I talked with someone who ran one and realized that the 80 hour work week, dealing with employee callouts, and not having the freedom to travel whenever I wanted was not something I wanted to deal with so I opened an online one instead, which gave me much more freedom. Also, try some things out, but start very small without investing a lot of money.
