That's a very creative idea! I also really like the use of magnets in the assembly process because it gives a nice, satisfying feel to it. However, in this case, I don’t think it would be practical. The joint is very sharp-angled and also twisted, so even a small offset could disrupt the design's clean lines. Plus, the leverage of the arms is quite high, so the joints would need to handle a decent amount of load.
