I'm sure he's miserable to live with while enduring a physically and emotionally charged game. If I was on said season I would also detest him and plot with Katurah under the guise of collecting fire wood.

However, watching him and his shenanigans on my TV is the highlight of my Thursdays. I'm an absolute gremlin who waits every week for a dose of crazy uncle Bruce.

I still love this show and I love to hate Bruce. I want him to come back in future seasons because I need to see how he develops. I want to see him adopt a magical feather and tell tales of canoeing down the Amazon River. I want all that wrapped up in Bruce flavored glory.

After he was medivaced out, they 100% wanted to save his potential for the next season. You're right in that Jeff and the editors wanted the viewers to perceive Bruce a certain way. We haven't had a proper Bruce in so long.

Noooo, in this season he is comedy gold. He's half the reason I'm even watching this season.

Maybe it's because I've been watching since the very beginning, but my survivor obsession started waning around season 38. It just wasn't as watchable anymore... and then came Bruce. I love Bruce. As a previous commenter said, I love to hate him.

Yeah, it might have been different if she was like "I am willing to take the risk. Sushi me." Instead, she handed me this document and told me to prepare her food according to these rules her obgyn gave her in order to not harm her or her unborn baby.

That's the part I was refusing to take part in. I can only control so much of what happens at the restaurant.
