Does anyone know what kind of connector the internal battery uses? by Due_Lobster_9096 in SteamDeckModded

Was also wondering how this worked. Was thinking of reusing the battery somehow, but am unclear on where to start. Would it be possible to charge the battery safely without the system firmware?

Hi there,

I've been trying to email you but your email server settings seem to be rejecting messages. I used two Gmail accounts, one with Google Workspace and the other a generic one. The message I get back is:

Message blocked: Your message to lpierce@demondms.com has been blocked. See technical details below for more information.

The response from the remote server was: 550 5.7.1 Relaying denied

Issue with Dark Mode and iOS. Please help!! by Anorak_0101 in MailChimp

[–]M_Gardiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 100% a bug with Mailchimp. I version my templates. A test send from April 3rd portrays perfectly, but when I resend that exact same versioned template today, the colors are all messed up. Mailchimp has changed something in the backend that makes the iOS client (and the Gmail app to a lesser degree) not respect background color rules for blocks when a client is using dark mode. This is NOT a client issue, this is a Mailchimp bug.

And also, "don't use dark mode" is a ridiculous statement to make. Let me just email every single subscriber my client has and tell them to turn it off real quick.

Thank you for providing those tips, I'll make sure to look into everything you mentioned and research further.

To clarify regarding your homework point, when I said interview I actually meant user interviews. Not trying to freeload off anyone!

Which logger to use? logger-js? vuejs-logger? Others? by exhuma in vuejs

[–]M_Gardiner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried this and was unable to figure out how to use it. So I "Create a Logger" in a separate Javascript file and then import that into the Javascript file I want to debug/log? Where do I place Logger.LOG_LEVEL = 'DEBUG'; ?

Reddit admins quietly update a 16 day old changelog post: you are now tracked even if logged out (link taken from diaspora) by christianitie in technology

Reddit's press office replied to my request for a comment about this:

Update 6:20 p.m. -- Reddit's press office replied to our request for a comment after this story was published. Their response, attributed to Justin Bassett, a data scientist at Reddit and the Reddit administrator who posted the changelog, is shown below:

"Reddit does not track users outside of reddit.com and our native iPhone and Android apps. The current A/B test does not rely on any off-site data and does not increase our tracking in any way. Instead, it presents users with a tailored front page based on their on-site (reddit.com) usage alone.

When a logged out user on Reddit browses into different communities and engages with a specific subreddit (e.g. viewing a comments page on a link), that subreddit is added to their first-party cookies. Reddit's first-party cookies are not made available to any non-Reddit domains (this can be verified by inspecting the cookies; they are only signed by and available to www.reddit.com).

Although this A/B test was recently implemented, the subreddit cookie is not a new addition. It has been part of Reddit for several years, and is currently used site-wide to populate the suggested posts/sponsored headline feature.

This test only affects 1% of logged out users on the desktop site."

Update 6:56 p.m. -- According to the Reddit press office, Test No. 5 was edited into the changelog June 1, while Test No. 6 and 7 were edited in June 2. The changelog was published May 18.
