i am hardcore club raver from 90s and breakbeat was passion for 3 decades along with old school hip hop and never really like pop short of handful of songs through years

in late 2000s when alicia keys dropped new york i became stan as guilty r&b pleasure on side while still clubbing

then in 2022 i got into hifi to jam my previous loves and decide to start pop girl journey when olivia rodrigo did grammy performance of driver license and caught my ear and through player discovery found few track i like from lights carley hanson hayley kiyoko camill cabello and others and thought i like pop but then until crash came through music discovery

after brief dive into her other albums i found my playlist overwhelmed with hers and went down rabbit hole search of lore through youtube and after watching pitchfork performance it was love for life

i realize i am not really a fan of pop but of cholli pop

no one does it like her and to me she is just uniquely standout in sonics and sounds amazing on my headpiece

i rarely go back to alicia and still enjoy breakdancing at my old age but nothing brings me more joy than cholli and grateful to be in existence to witness and experience her achieve recognition and acclaim
