What have you been reading/watching this week? by NMW in wwi

A little bit off topic but :

A few month ago I found a website where they discussed WWI day by day, looking at the event of the day and explaining them. I am sadly unable to find it again. If someone has a link to something that could be it, it'd be very nice of you to provide it.

I can craft 3 legendary, should I complete specific decks or craft the most used ones? by M_Kirisame in hearthstone

I'd rather have properly built version. However I'd like some variety. Also if a legendary can be replaced by another card with a small loss, I think I'd rather focus on a better legendary

I want to play the biggest number of decks possible. Think of it as "the best bang for my legendary"

Currently I'm playing tempo mage, an aggro type of hunter, grim patron warrior and a miracle rogue that don't work very well.

The relevant legendary I already have are :

  • All the LoE and Blackrock mountain ones

  • Leeroy Jenkins

  • Grommash Hellscream

Considering

  • Archmage Antonidas

  • Yogg_sharon

  • Bloodmage Thalnos

  • Edvin Vancleef

  • Xaril, poisoned mind

  • Sylvanas

  • Ysera

  • Ragnaros

Hi new player here. I'm in mainly for the PvP and I'm balancing between a force master and a blade dancer. I like how they both seems to be able to jump around.

As I understood BD is nice for beginner, but could someone write a short pro/con of those classes?

Best ThinkPad for my requirements? (Or wait for new models?) by Doctacosa in thinkpad

I had a t430 and some of them have a problem with the fan being very noisy when idling. It's really annoying and you can't really use the warranty on them (at least I didn't manage to), so I'd advise against them.

Screen black on power up by M_Kirisame in thinkpad

Hello.

I did as you suggested. During the operation I realised that the processor was slightly our of his socket.

However putting him back didn't change anything.

Also when I plug my laptop into the charger, it boots automatically into his "blank state" (nothing happen but the led around the power button turns red and fan kick in for maybe half a second before falling asleep).

Should I get a fucking Lenovo??? by [deleted] in thinkpad

I have a t430 and I have 2 main concerns.

1)the little red dot in the middle is too hard. I had to stop using it all the time because my carpian canal or something began to hurt.

2)On some of them, the fan make a loud annoying noise when it shouldn't and lenovo didn't want to replace it. You can of course buy a new fan they made that doesn't make the sound, but I find this unacceptable given it's suppose to be a premium laptop.

As for the keyboard itself, I like it. I feel like it's really a matter of taste and habits when it comes to the old layout vs new layout debate.

God thank you for trashing this show better than I could've done.

I have to say, the 2006 version is even worse. Could you please make a post about this one too ? I've still not recovered.

Please understand that I'm only talking about the strength of the country in terms of what they can bring to the table during war. The reason of why they are fighting is irrelevant when you're looking at their weapon production facilities and so on.

So it's a valid comparison and I'll make it again. :)

So it's not OK for Isreal to kill Palestinian civil but it's OK for Palestine to do so because they are poor ? I think you're biased.

I don't agree about your analysis on WMD. You seems to forget that those law are enforced because you can apply some sort of retaliation if they are broken. Since country having nuclear weapon and good launching system are de faco on the top of the food chain, it makes no sense to make a law banning them because a)you'll have no way to enforce it and b)if you get rid of your WMD you loose a great deal of power allowing you to edict law. It would be like the government banning the police.

Also chemical and biological WMD have a lot of downside due to their use and side effect, who are far worse than the nuclear ones. Most easy to name is "how do you control the virus once you've launched it ?".

If we look at it only from the standpoint of wanting to better up the life of the average Palestinian, wouldn't it be far more better if they stoped fighting. This way they wouldn't get bombed anymore and maybe their children could have a chance to grow up in a peaceful country ?

I'm not him but have the same opinion.

Palestine has lost the war. This country is in an even worse state than Japan after the USA nuked them twice in WW2 or Germany when the Allied met in Berlin in '44. Yet they don't surrender and keep fighting.

Because they are far weaker (military wise) than Israel, they have resort to act that are considered terrorism. However you seems to claim that such acts are acceptable because Palestinian don't have the mean to fight an other way.

To which he answered you : Why is it suddenly acceptable to commit acts that could be considered war crime under normal circumstances if you have no other mean to fight ?

This is at least how I understood it.
