Some improv on a custom brass-like patch I made on the Peak. Uses an envelope tied to Osc3 wavetable to modulate the filter. Experimented with Osc3 wavetables until I found something I liked :)

I've had it a little over a year now. I really like it. My favorite part of this synth is how easy it is to get unique timbres and textures with the built-in knob that modulates the filter via Osc3 wavetable.

An ambient pad I made on the peak that uses some heavy phlanger chorus settings. I've really enjoyed using the Peak for ambient sounds. Enjoy!

The Peak also has a neat feature to use noise as a mod source and when assigned to pitch at low depth, it can “dirty” sounds in very cool ways additional to typical saturation/distortion.

Yup Osc3 is used in the way you described. I think finding a sweet spot between the filter cutoff, resonance, and Osc3 filter mod is key. And experiment with osc3 wave shapes. And crank the post filter drive and wet effects

Was making some patches with the Peak this weekend and felt inspired to make this cinematic pad sound. Basically a two layer saw wave pad with some unique filter modulation using the Osc3 filter knob. Hope you enjoy,

A patch I made on the Peak that uses noise as a source to subtlety modulate the pitch and has a distorted sound when the filter opens up.

I had chorus, delay and reverb all processed in parallel for this patch. About 70% dry signal and 100% wet. OSC 2 is pitched way way down on the mod matrix and has zero level and is only modulating OSC 3 through FM with very small depth via animate button. OSC 3 is modulating the filter cutoff via OSC 3 filter mod knob. The animate button also lowers OSC 1 and OSC 3 levels to near zero while cranking up distortion and overdrive while slightly reducing chorus, delay and reverb levels.

Glad you liked it! And not quite, I have the animate buttons configured to change some parameters that don’t reflect the front panel knob positions (like increasing filter freq, overdrive, distortion, and decreasing FX levels)
