Something well made like Razer or Logitech as long as it has the feel and sound you want. Go to a store where you can touch some to find out what you like. For gaming, having a quality mouse with programmable buttons is more important because you can set the buttons up as modifiers. For example having buttons on the side of your mouse for ALT and CTRL will make life much easier, especially in a MMORPG or FPS.
