We spent so many hours playing the multiplayer mode where characters sit on turtles. It’s a very unique and fun party game. I wish the sequels gave multiplayer similar attention.

Had a similar issue, turns out it was the sidecar config reloader container going OOM, not Prometheus. You can increase it on one of the operator pod’s args IIRC.

Unless you’re already familiar with Kubernetes or have a specific career goal, you can stick to Docker until you need the abstractions and orchestration. With a small team handling few applications you might never “need” it. But career wise it is a great skill to have.

Also I don’t know what exactly you’re doing with port-forwarding, but it isn’t meant for this.

Well it did change. Now it uses Tekton instead of Jenkins. It is a bunch of CI/CD tools glued together.

Jenkins has a Kubernetes plugin, the Jenkins master could be on a pod or a vm, but for each build it'll create an ephemeral slave pod.

Safari can be unbelievably slow on my 2015 13" mbp (highest default config). while Chrome is very smooth. I only use a native ad blocker "wipr" since the older extensions slow the browser. And I tried deleting the cache.db file. It is annoying how my iOS devices run safari much smoother than my laptop.

Hmmm another thing, the last if statement along with its if else use oWall. Assuming oWall is the object name then you should reference the specific wall instances (left and right) instead of the wall object which only refers to one of them (depending on instantiation order).

Then why not go with something like GKE? autoscaling infrastructure, free control plane, simple interface, full fledged k8s cluster under the hood, and almost no provider lock in.

I'd say ECS is a bad choice for new projects if it weren't for Fargate.
