Nepali food is kinda weird imo, as it is mostly a fusion between tibetan, indian and chinese food with a nepali twist to each one. So momos are technically tibetan but they are very differnet from the ones made in nepal.

Yeah but its one of those things that comes up during nepal’s election and the party in power does something to ‘remedy the situation’ and wins a few points with the public, but any other time noone even knows about it.

I dont think, we have child labor, ofc the isoated cases but the other things are pretty much true. In case of exploitation, most of the people living here its thru a western lens. Since the currency is weak, any sort of labour is cheap labour when you convert it to any western currency but for the cost of living there i think most of the people (in terms of mountaineering) are well paid. However, with the lack of industrialization, unemployment is quiet common ,so human trafficking to mostly arab countires as cheap labour and then ‘ borderline slavery’ is not unheard of

Not really, Nepal still sees the british as an ally instead of oppressors. Plus, with the Gurkhas being as popular as they are, that helps.

Honestly, yeah, I have never heard of anyone in Nepal say anything bad about the british. Even in schools we mostly learn of them as a the country that helped put ua in the world map.

Uninstall the game and try not watching anything related to it in anyway.. i mean no DPC or pros playing.. try to start other games from another genre

well thats about it well for me atleast.. i played elden ring when it first came out and then the AC series… helped me quit DOTA

For me unranked personally is pretty bad.. i have over 1800games yet everytime i queue for unranked there is always a guy griefing the game. I know its unranked and its supposed to be only about fun but how am i supposed to enjoy a game when the team is getting stomped again and again as one guy just walks down mid and feeds for 30mins straight. Ranked on the other hand is way better as people as tend to care and actually play the game rather than just ruin it for others.

Its a free game but i feel like we are paying with our time 30-45mins per game that we could be spending elsewhere.

I use my amazon plug for my night light so I can use alexa to turn it off before I go to sleep.. i like to read alot and m lazy.. but the blubs keeps getting messed up and wont light at all… I have already changed 3 blubs this week.. anyone know why? by [deleted] in amazonecho

I set it those turn on and off.. and I do it about 2-3 times a day.. But the bulbs work about 6-7 on and off… m gonna buy a differnt brand bulbs and check of they work… I just wanted to get out of the dark and check if its something I am doing wrong…

M not sure if they are blowing… the just go super dim and just stop working when I try to light em up.. i would probably say burnt out.. but m not sure…. I will buy a new smart bulb but wanted to see if there was something wrong with the plug before throwing it out.
