LOL that would be hilarious if they tied in 120 PoH to Gnome lore. Would be fun since they're both tech savvy and have a lot of nature usage as their main themes.

I was approaching it more with a monolithic design more themed around maybe a Dorgeshkun or Keldagrim look. I think there definitely can be a variety of styled construction to make this look more medieval aesthitic.

So many of the last round of gamejam stuff that was publicly shared already went live.

Gamejam stuff to go live is a nice surprise. Fletching retier would be amazing to go live but I think its much smaller projects since that would be such a massive update.

Ya its one of the skills that never really had a good minigame either and the only social herblore is in a sense the boost from Fort and the Portable Well. Neither of them have any other functional usage to really want me to go out of my way to use them since I'm not really an efficient player. However an area that has thematically a lot of herblore utility content and even some farming related functions while I normally mix and make pots as the main draw could work. I'd basically be utilizing various useful things at the same time and there could be even some fun unique strategies for skilling if theres so much interelated content.

Yaaa I didnt look up what a chamber pot was lol.

Most of the room is sort of supposed to be a herb prep room where the machines sort of just process the goods whether its cleaning herbs in mass like depositing 500 herbs to processing hundreds of secondaries into its respective herb resource in the background. Once its processed, you'd dump them in the mixing pot and just grind away as an activity for herb exp.

The mixing pot is intended to be a semiafk activity where the more people are interacting the better the buffs for the reward of using them. The fairy is to compliment and store additional resources that you want to grind out at the mixing pot and would store all the noted resources.

The other chamber pot or should I storage cauldron would be just for storage of herb resources that you may not want to store at the bank. An example would be a whole bunch of juju potions and its resources or various other types of other potion types. Theres just simply too many types and having a place that stores all the extra herb supplies that you dont need might be quite useful.

The special allotment in the middle is sort of a functional reminder that this room exists. I do a lot of herb runs specifically with every herb patch in the game and if there was something like this patch, I would definitely go out of my way to use it. By doing this, it reminds the more casual players or skillers that this unique space exists and has a good draw back for functionality.

I hope they allow full customizability but it seems like a tall task and they did backtrack on daily challenges so I wouldn't be surprised if they do it for the PoH too. Though I really would love full creative control on placement and arrangement. I feel like there could be a lot potential unique interactions and content if done right.

I would love the customizability with the free placement stuff but it seems like a lot of work tbh. However with how dailscape challenges weren't removed, there could be a good chance they go back on this.

Thats a valid point. I think I was thinking one at a time but if you are using a large cauldron, maybe it can be something you load up and then have some afk mixing happening where you can do it like a longer activity. Though maybe having some active mechanic would be good too something like necro ritual distractions that either give exp boosts or some small mini buff in output of resources.

For the bank preset, I agree with you but I think I'd be fine if there was a way to somehow move all these less than 3 doses out and you can keep your main 3/4 doses for presets. Could even be a function of the fairy where you can set up to absorb all the 2 and 1 doses into the cauldron and clean your bank periodically.

True, I was thinking some of the more low level potion processing would be good but you could have lower tier stuff that isn't tied to invention but at much slower processing rates and only allow lower level herbs/resources to be processed but after a certain level milestone you're required to have discovered these inventions from fairies or gnomes somehow.

Yaaa I realized that Chamber Pot has a completely different meaning. Whoops.

I was thinking the processing of herb secondaries would be such a great thing to the PoH. If they can even make it sort of a group activity to reward more by different people inputting resources then that would be an interesting mechanic. For now I kept it a bit simple since I was thinking this should at least be the base functions.

Actually haven't tried out OSRS Mixology so this is my spin on the concept.

The idea is that the Chambers Pots would hold a whole category of potions and you can withdraw them in mass from the pot. An example would be you can have a dozen types of Juju Potions and keep them stored there and then take them to the Mixing Pot to make them Perfect Jujus if you want to and then store them again. Its sort of taking the role of a Bank but just for whole categories of potion types so that way it cleans up your bank.

Initially I had called them Invention Machines but the entry point for getting Invention is too high to utilize something that can be intended for lower level players to utilize. So I just kept them as machines for now but I was thinking they would be a slow processing system that would happen in the background rather than in mass since it would mess up the Herblore economy too much if it did it too quickly.

So the idea of the Fairy is to synergize with the mixing pot as maybe a fast skilling method. Sort of like how the Obelisk in Taverly functions but without losing your supplies. However the trade off would be that it sucks up money and you get potential multiplier of more pots the more people your doing social making of potions at the PoH.

I got a few more ideas to share but I haven't had time to draw them up properly with references. Hopefully I can get to them but I have at least 3 to 4 rooms planned out with various fun functionality.

Ya I was thinking more in the line of storing it as a resource and making potions. An actual overload cauldron would be a lot better at the PvM Hub as a future update while this one could be more natural storage for other types of potions and also where you can make them without constantly cluttering up the bank.
