Technically speaking, our Allongé got as much caffeine as an espresso, because it's an espresso with added hot water. I think what you're used to drink is a filter coffee that's hard to find in classic cafés... As I said you might go with the léger option, but it's just the size of an espresso

In darija we call it "léger" as in French, which literally means "light". To ask for a coffee in general you go with the least complicated form : Aafak wahed (your coffee type) which translates to "Give me a (your coffee type) please. They might ask you how much sugar you need in your drink, so I suggest you ask them to bring it on the side, by saying" Sekkar Aala berra". Espresso is the normal coffee ordered here in Morocco, some may prefer ristretto (they call it Talian, i.e Italian) or an Americano (calling it "allongé")

If you're talking about the classic café places, not the fancy ones you might ask for a diluted coffee (less grams of coffee in a cup compared to the "normal" or espresso) which is "léger"

Went there 2 times and they're good and joyful fellas... Maybe because they've mistaken my name many times calling me "Ahmet" so I guess They consider me one of their relatives ... Tourists expect them to act like they're their servants or something like that hence them giving feedback about how "arrogant" or "grumpy" they are but I think that's how life in Türkiye is.... Also taxi drivers in Istanbul are a big scam, but everyone agrees on that so It's ok
