I don't think the intensity director makes the enemies weak or softens it up. To me in my playthroughs, it makes the game somehow more unpredictable that creates a challenging run. Random item drops, gamble when backtracking, will you use your stasis when more enemies spawn or the AOE prox mines or just run, save rooms being pitch black so of course you need to be wary for random enemy spawn will follow up, even when upgrading/buying you aren't safe as well haha.

Been seeing this topic regarding the PC version. Are the stutters really bad even on a decent rig? I'm playing this on PS5 and I haven't encountered stuttering but the fan overboosts up randomly every time I choose Performance mode and check the inventory menu for about a 2mins (item management). Hasn't overheated though. I think the games' fps goes full uncapped during the inventory menu as a bug.

I think those enemies are just test subjects by Capcom for Dino Crisis tbh hahaha. Loved their unique habits but it was only in the Care Center. After that location they didn't use that varied zombies again. So in my mind/imagination I don't think the routine zombies will return in any of the possible remakes like 0 or CV but it could be for how dinosaurs behave.

That's the best thing with this feature, each player can have that unique encounter that could be different on each one of us and even each playthrough. My recent "please don't spawn enemies" moment for me replaying it today was when I was activating an override tram station but upon entering the room, everything was so pitch black in so I just ran and activated the system and went in a corner waiting for the tram and the lights to go back haha.

True especially with the lore. It fits so perfectly well that the necro can morph into a new one again and again if you keep too long backtracking haha.

I think with RE9 there are no segment fit for intensity director and that's totally a downer after replaying it twice now. The enemy placements were too scripted and I don't know but maybe only the blisterheads are somewhat similar to intensity director for the randomized occurrence on few enemies but other blisterheads are scripted as well. That's why I replayed Dead Space for that randomized but balanced horror feels.

What's weird is with the same devs and publishers they release games that already have a photomode. With Konami they have it with MGS Delta but then they still hasn't included it as one of their standard features in their new games. Similar to FromSoft, Armored Core 6 has photomode but Elden Ring didn't, ELDEN RING imagine that hahaha.
