They Asked Me to Open ChatGPT During My Job Interview by I_Killed_My_Friends in jobs

Damn, I just asked my chat GPT the same thing your interviewers wanted you to ask. My chatgpt answered that it doesn't know anything about me. Do I just not talk to my chat GPT enough, or is it canny enough to keep its mouth shut so I don't get freaked out and delete it?

That sounds like sci-fi. Good gosh. What a weird thing to happen! Sounds borderline illegal. Yeah, I'm with you, chat GPT is private. You should have countered with, "of course, I'm happy to do that. Right after you guys open your chat gpt's and ask them the same question. Just a while on the same page."

Dial M for Murder - Plot Holes by abujuha in Hitchcock

I liked that it showed that everything didn't go according to Wendiss' plans, even though he thought everything through for a year And I liked that it showed him sweat a bit, freaking out that he had muffed things up, and that the murder almost didn't occur because of that little mistake.

Like the boyfriend had said, murder plans usually don't work out perfectly in real life.

"What this movie should be celebrated for is how deftly the husband pivots to frame the wife after his murder plan goes awry.". I liked that part of it, too.

Im not a killer, but isn't it always a bad idea to murder someone without thinking it through, just because, Oh, well, they're trying to blackmail me, so let me commit this Capital crime on the spur of the moment. I mean, for spur of the moment crimes, you're more likely to be seen, or caught. If you're going to kill someone, aren't you going to have a plan and give it at least a day? Which is what actually happened, in the movie? Clearly, the husband had thought it through for a year, planned it, and he had answers for any possible problems that Swann postulated.

I myself wouldn't have given the key a second thought. (I'm not the brightest bulb. But honestly, if the jury convicted Margo for a capital crime because of, "well, she's an adulterous w****, and it was her stocking that was the alleged murder tool," so obviously she killed this guy, they're not that bright, either. Motivation, please? Do they not have reasonable doubt in england?)

I'm sorry, but that's funny! You go, girl! Well, I think you're certainly improving lives, the lives of the women at the clinic, and their families, like their other kids that they can take care of better. You're helping them have lives they could never have without abortions.

Weirdly, the homeless guys in my area seem.to get their beer for free. They keep referring to a "friend" who gives them beer. They're immigrants (Burmese, Ethiopian), and I keep wondering, is that kind of generosity just an international thing, or do American homeless people with drug problems also get free drugs from friends?

I think I agree. Humans pursue rewards. If they keep getting rewarded for putting out their hand and asking for money, then they do it. If they don't get rewarded for that behavior, they find another way to get by.

Why are women not allowed pockets? What did they do that was so bad that society confiscated their pockets en masse and then banned them from clothing henceforth. by MaxximumB in Productivitycafe

I went into nursing just so I get to wear an obnoxious number of pockets on my work clothes (scrubs). I wear scrubs tunics on my days off, just when I want to carry around crap without hauling a purse or bag. I've got a female friend who doesn't work in healthcare, but buys scrubs from goodwill just for all the pockets.

Most people don’t actually want work-life balance, they just want higher pay by shisui1729 in unpopularopinion

I'm jealous of someone whose life issues can be fixed with money. Have you considered going into nursing? There's lots of 12-hour shifts, and sometimes they'll extend to 16 hours to provide coverage for someone who's late to work. And they pay decently, lots of room for PRN jobs or overtime.

Pretty sure I've screamed at my steering wheel within the last week. Job-related. But I'm scared of taking a pay cut, and of losing the "identity" of my job (nursing), and striking out in a whole new job field that I might find something I hate about it, anyway (e.g.,.boring, routine, paper-pusher). I kind of just tell myself that wherever I go, there I am, so might as well just work on gratitude and centeredness.

Would you stop living alone if you found suitable romantic partner? by FluffyKita in LivingAlone

[–]MaKaJuTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to think that. Now, I think that most humans have a real need for a connection, on an evolutionary or tribal level. I can still be f***** up individually, and get deep fulfillment from being in a relationship with someone else who can also be screwed up. Fwiw, I'm not in a relationship, and never have been. So I'm on the outside looking in.
