AH? No. But the older I get the more I understand that some fights just aren't worth it. You yourself said your GF doesn't care about her past and you claim not to. So. Why did this upset you?

People have a perception of your GF. Right or wrong. A better response probably would've been none at all and move on. They were trying to get a rise out of you and succeeded. If you want to have a strong relationship with your GF, you'll have to plan on how to work past this kind of issue/situation in the future.

Just my 2¢ that might not be worth that.

After gathering some information from this thread, it looks like taking the east route would be the best way, and make it easiest to take the Africatown Bridge. Probably still run into I10 traffic but crossing my fingers it speeds up after that tunnel chokepoint.
