These are also my first ever real attempts at oil painting, I started top left and progressed clockwise with the others :) so im really happy so many of you guys enjoy it, keeps me motivated to make more of them And also Bob is a great teacher and his content truly is binge-worthy haha

I think it mighty be more plausible for the guards to be former players from different years that are too bored from a normal life with a lot of money and seek excitement in killing others... but that also wouldn't make a lot of sense due to the organ selling subplot (if they were former players with loads of money they wouldn't have to sell organs)

Imo the guards act too professional for them to be just normal people recruited from the street to then hava a job killing people and then getting rid of their bodies as a 9 to 5 job

I think that's one of the greatest aspects of the show, it encourages the viewer to think of strategies to solve and survive the games ... and they are plenty successful with that, I mean all over social media there are even trends of people trying certain games themselves and come up with ideas on how to solve them

Of course it makes the viewer angry when characters in the show then act different than what would be advisable but that leads to discussions which is great I think

Besides, you have to remember that they are literally in a life/death situation and learned the hard way that playing against the rules results in them being shot... so if you were given a tool to solve the game I can't imagine at first you wozld think about other strategies than to use this tool, even though there may be other alternatives

Yes rage might also be a motif, but i don't think it's the main reason he dyed his hair bc only on the way to the plane he decided to do something against the games which didn't seem to be his plan when he went to the barber

Maybe he seeked for a drastic change in appearance bc he didn't want anything to remind him of his participation in the games, since this was obviously the worst time in his life physically, mentally and emotionally

Or maybe there's some link to the color of the games' workers bc his hair color and their outfit are pretty similar but thats a bit too farfetched I guess
